Is it okay to buy gum from someone selling it because he is desperate for the money? Your comment reminds me I learned that from my first trip to Bangkok. My first trip to a Thai Boy Club I was a bit taken back and felt uneasy. The legal minimum wage in Colombia, Brazil, and Thailand is considerably higher compared to Russia. Russia is Europe but not all European nations reflect that aspect of the argument that categorically scoops European and American advantages together.

To be fair, a Big Mac in Russia costs considerably less, so overall COL relative to wages may be more equalized.

The Russian likely stands to benefit as much as a Latin American or Asian national by eschewing “conventional” employment in favour of prostitution. By extension, his economic reality is no less exploitable simply because his melanin composition is different.
