Members pauleiro Posted February 29, 2020 Members Posted February 29, 2020 On March 15th, there are right and extreme right parties, supporting Bolsonaro, who are going to demonstrate against Congress and Supreme Court considering that they are blocking needed reforms. Bolsonaro made and sent a video on whattsapp supporting these demonstrations. A journalist of Sao Paulo knew about this video and decided to distribute it widely. Of course, most parties, members of Congress and Federal Judges considered that it was unacceptable the President to attack Brasilian institutions. Bolsonaro started to say that it was a private document sent to a few friends, then, in front of the very negative general reactions, claimed that the video was from 2015. The SP journalist prooved that the video contained images of Bolsonaro's election and could not be of 2015. TV and papers commented widely, presenting the President as a total liar. The vice-President was sent as fireman to try to calm down situation and showed the Bolsonaro's vision of Brazil : " to make Brazil the most prosperous and successfull liberal democracy in the Southern hemisphere". In Brazil, the fact that the President is acting against the congress is a case of impeachment. After having seen the Trump impeachment trial recently, are we going to assist to the Bolsonaro's impeachment trial or are we going to have a military dictature again in Brazil ? axiom2001 1 Quote
