Popular Post sfcastro Posted December 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 1, 2019 I went to Lion's Rio Club last night (Friday) around 8 pm. There were about 25-35 garotos and 20 clients with a show at 9 pm with three drag queens and one gogo boy. They gave out a glass of champagne, some fried appetizers and then a variety of pastas to everyone. Overall I really like the club overall and the renovations. There were a number of staff from Meio Mundo and most of the garotos were the same type of guy found at Meio Mundo. The garotos were complaining that it was very weak for a Friday night, but it was also the end of the month when many brazilians are short of money waiting for their monthly payroll check next week. From talking with the people there, the best nights, in order, are Friday, Monday and then Wednesday. I was there with some friends and all of us liked the club and had a good time. Now hoping it lasts given some of the rumors as competition is good (Club 117 was offering a 50% discount on suites Friday nights in November) and another option in addition to Club 117 and Pointe 202. axiom2001, Lucky, azdr0710 and 4 others 7 Quote
Members azdr0710 Posted December 9, 2019 Members Posted December 9, 2019 I promised in another thread that I'd check out Lions Rio on my visit to RJ a couple weeks ago.......a combination of a very late arrival (cancelled flight on LATAM) and my buddies wanting to stick with 117 and 202 caused me to not be able to check out Lions......sorry about that, but thanks to @sfcastro for his report above Quote
sfcastro Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 I decided after my first visit to Lion's Rio Club on a Friday to try it the following Monday night. It was much quieter than my Friday night visit, with about 10 garotos and 5 clients. Rooms were free for 30 minutes and the admission was R$60. Even with only a small number of clients, they still had a show at 9 pm. With it being slow, you definitely receive lots of attention. The Monday I visited was also before people received their December salary and their December bonus so not sure if that was a factor. My recommendation would be to try it on a Friday night if you want to try an alternative to 117 or 202. Latbear4blk, pauleiro and brockmiller 2 1 Quote
Ejay106 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 My partner and I had the time of our life on Monday and Wednesday night at the club during the last week in November. We had about five different guys , enjoyed a great show and had complimentary drinks. Here are a few names that I remember: Will, big wide dick, Lucus , long curve hook dick that never goes down after nutting twice with us and hot versatile, Mizael, tall brother with a huge fat, and long dick that was everything you would want , Carlos with a smile and lips to die for with a nice heavy thick dick, Bruno was everything and more, etc. You must go and yes we played at the point and 117 but the best guys this trip were at the Lion’s Club. From my assessment they are open to stay and provide a better venue. Vincmad and axiom2001 2 Quote

Members Riobard Posted December 20, 2019 Members Posted December 20, 2019 @Ejay106, it is difficult to ascertain where your head is at regarding unprotected intercourse. With so many readers here you can expect responses based on both the celebration of sexual play and the liabilities of condomless sex. On the one hand or extreme, you may be a diehard Bareback Brotherhood member and not interested in hearing about alternative perspectives. On the other hand, you may not be fully up to speed on relevant Sexually Transmitted Infection information and its sobering reality among at-risk socioeconomically deprived commercial sex workers, eg in Brazil. Your ‘covenant of love’ philosophy would have us believe that a sexual libertarian stance is counterbalanced and accompanied by a strong valuing of the wellbeing of your intimate partners. Sometimes a question is disguised as a presentation or an assertion. In this case, the barebacking depiction may be an inquiry ... Inquiries are welcome here. Quote

Members SolaceSoul Posted December 21, 2019 Members Posted December 21, 2019 One thing that really absolutely gets my goat more than anything are these entitled Westerners who travel to places where darker, poorer people are much less privileged and then take advantage of them by doing things like using their monetary influence to have irresponsible, unsafe sex with them. And then BRAG about it. Or encourage this kind of behavior by patting those who do it on the back with “good job!” I don’t care if you’re on PrEP. The other party in a developing nation may not have access to top-shelf medical care like you, and also PrEP does zero for the spread of other deadly or chronic sexually transmitted diseases like hrpatitis or meningitis, or the new viral-resistant gonorrhea which are all on the rise with gays in the USA because they are back to barebacking. It’s not that hard to be a responsible whore or an ethical sex tourist. swissmale, DutchDork, BlkSuperman and 1 other 3 1 Quote

The pushback against barebacking is about visitors’ overall social contract with Brazil. It is not Christian Right proselytizing about sex. The Rio Metro subway, for example, has established dedicated car stock for females during rush hour. Riders can see the pink doors, a potent cue, and put together very quickly the rationale, based on episodic misogynistic groping of women in crowded spaces. The context of exceptionality, for example a harmless gay male, is irrelevant. A squadron of military police is not needed to enforce a measure that stems from sociological realities. Common human decency supports adherence. Any rule-breaker can expect stink-eye. We foreigners willingly comply. Condoms are routinely dispensed, at cost or small markups, in the beloved establishments where we purchase commercial sex. This behavioural/social cue, introduced at the juncture of a sexual encounter, is solidly underpinned by epidemiological data regarding the entire spectrum of sexually transmitted infections. It denotes the social contract of supporting population health and well-being. It is an implicit expectation that everybody “gets it” and complies. Along with the whole range of STIs, PreP (for HIV) exemptive exceptionalities have less relevance due to the exploding rates of undiagnosed syphilis and the thousands of heartbreaking cases of gestational and newborn congenital syphilis infection now outpacing the transient Zika outbreak by at least 10-fold. The military is not going door-to-door educating households. Based on syphilis detection among new young military conscripts, 1/50 overall and 1/20 for MSM experienced, it is not a stretch to assume a high rate of undetected syphilis among garotos de programa. Many of these guys are making babies. The country has also been plagued by shortages of the penicillin subtype that penetrates the placenta barrier. Otherwise, relatively easy to screen and treat, at least for us at home. The condoms at Lions et al are the initial index or cue outlining our social contract. This syphilis-infected newborn, among thousands not miscarried or stillborn in Brazil, missed out on parental screening. A neglected or overlooked social cue at the end of the cascade effect of unprotected sex ... Edited December 21, 2019 by Riobard Splng Quote

Members likeohmygod Posted December 22, 2019 Members Posted December 22, 2019 (edited) @TotallyOz I miss the times when this forum was a very friendly community...gone. Now it looks more like nazi-german's people's courts. This is a very complicated topic, which IMHO should be kept outside of this forum...anyway there are some facts: -Having BB sex with a sex-worker is not a great idea. It has nothing to do with the exploitation thing, since the majority of the sexual workers around the globe, do this job because it's easy money (including nowadays Brazil...after all R$150+"benefits" in 30 minutes of sex, is better than R$1000 after a month of hard work inside a supermarket, 7 hours per day, if lucky...iPhone 11 costs R$6k). It is more of a matter of science, ignorance, law and probabilities. -The vast majority of the escorts working wordwide, that are gay, will accept to have BB sex. And there's more...I often get offered BB sex from them...could be my age...but it happens. I am sure it happened to many of the users of this forum too. Just say "no, thanks not". -A good share of customers, asks for BB sex...I've seen this happen countless times. Some guys nodded, some did not. -Having sex with someone without telling him that you have any kind of untreated STD, it's a heavy criminal offence in most of the countries, especially if that person gets infected...assuming that a person is involved in this kind of behaviour is also illegal if it turns out that it's not true. Assuming that latbear4blk is a kind of "walking infector", is really not something should be read in what is supposed to be a friendly community. -If you guys are so scared about STDs, you should not be visiting saunas and you should not be having sex with escorts. Assuming for 1 second that HIV never existed or that everybody's on Prep, while having fun with a sauna escort boy if you're using a condom, you're still exposing yourself to the vast majority of the STDs, unless you're paying for an escort, who doesn't kiss, who doesn't suck, who doesn't touch you. My advice...have safe sex with escorts...and stop making assumptions and critics about what the users do. Members Riobard Posted December 22, 2019 Members Posted December 22, 2019 (edited) Unprotected sex is driven largely by libidinal preference among clients, not inherently exploitive, sometimes tempered by risk assessment. Among commercial sex workers, consent is driven by financial reward, (notwithstanding variations in exigencies of survival) and accurate risk assessment is directly proportional to access to information not diluted by ignorance and misconception. The Brazilian government, as you well know @likeohmygod, is working hard to suppress sex education at a time when serious sexually transmitted infection is spiking. In concert with gaps in vital knowledge, condom use among young males is often stigmatized and ridiculed as weak and unmanly. Such dynamics in general, prohibition via insane moral arguments based on “othering”, resulting in withdrawal of funding for education, actually has the flavour of Nazi Germany to me. Many garotos de programa distance themselves from the identity of homosexuality while buying into messages that STIs thrive only among gays. Many are behaviourally heterosexual outside of trade. Unprotected sex is often both a counterphobic defense and messaging about ‘disease-free’ stock value and adventurousness. Capitalizing on this profound state-sanctioned juvenile ignorance and naïveté is only exploitive, sex tourism at its worst. Perhaps some clients screen for sexual illiteracy but I doubt that is the trend. Your encouragement of condom use is certainly on point. Edited December 22, 2019 by Riobard Erratum Quote
