Members stevenkesslar Posted October 26, 2019 Members Posted October 26, 2019 US budget deficit smashes $1 trillion mark, highest in 7 years Quote During his presidential campaign, President Donald Trump promised economic growth that would easily take care of the tax cuts and new spending he planned. His 2017 tax break for corporations and individuals has helped contribute to a deficit that has grown from $584.6 billion in 2016. Quote In 2009, Limbaugh ranted that Obama was a “coward” without the “spine” or “gonads” to admit he was responsible for driving up the deficit (rather than the two wars President George W. Bush started while cutting taxes). In 2011, Limbaugh bizarrely claimed that Obama was "the architect of deficits and debt unheard of in this nation." Wow! That's harsh. We better get an update from Rush. I bet he's steaming that we are back to $1 trillion deficits - even though the economy under Trump is "perfect" and growing like never before in human history! What do you make of this Rush? Rush Limbaugh admits GOP's fiscal attacks on Obama were "bogus," defends Trump's deficit Death of the deficit hawks: "Nobody is a fiscal conservative anymore," says host who drove the Tea Party uprising TotallyOz 1 Quote

They corrode our democracy and they need to stop.” AdamSmith 1 Quote
