How is that support going to endear you to others moving forward? In clear opposition to actors such as Timothée Chalamet, Greta Gerwig and Colin Firth, what possible gain is there to going public with such a controversial personal opinion? I am absolutely gobsmacked by today's news item. Goodie for Woody Allen. Maybe he has a true friend in Scarlett Johansson. So what! Will Scarlett convince others to step forward in support? I doubt it. Will this erase all doubt and speculation about Woody? I doubt it. Is this a good career move for Scarlett? I can't see it. So then, WHY THE FUCK DO IT? What is there to gain by going public with such a controversial opinion about a tragic family accusation? (Scratching my head not wanting to lose one more hair.) Quote
