Don't forget, anyone age 60 or more gets special treatment in Brazil. No more waiting in regular lines in stores and no more paying to ride on city buses and/or metro. Anyone 60 or older also gets early boarding on departing aircraft even if the older person does not have status with the airline. Such a deal - Of course there are many disadvantages of being old. Death is at the top of that list. Edited September 4, 2019 by mvan1 SolaceSoul and Kevie770 2 Quote

Members SolaceSoul Posted September 4, 2019 Author Members Posted September 4, 2019 I don’t care whether or not the winner is 63 or 96. I know that Brazil can find MANY more handsome older brasileiros than this guy who looks like Trent Lott! Quote

I thought about the possibility that the number 11, that shows on the man's coat, was the contestant number he was. However, reading through the article, that number does not signify his winning order. Moreover, in reading the article, the man's photo is presented along with the description of the winner being 90-years old. There is not enough information available in the article to know for sure what the number signifies. Edited September 5, 2019 by mvan1 Quote

He actually looks like a slightly darker version of my 94 year-old grandfather! (Black don’t crack, and brown sticks around.) And also, especially in that suit, a moreno Colonel Sanders.. Quote

Members Riobard Posted September 5, 2019 Members Posted September 5, 2019 (edited) The 16th annual just completed, I think about half a dozen prizes including handsomest are awarded to wnners among a finalist group of about 25. Rumour has it that one year the main winner, Mr CRI IPGG, was announced "guy in the Brazilian flag-themed speedo and spray tan!" Four contestants slowly stood up and began shuffling to the podium with their canes or walkers. Two of them collapsed in shock and were rushed to the ER down the hall. Henceforth, circle disk numbers were issued in the manner of fitness physique competitions such as the Arnold Classic. This story is sourced from GG's Sophia and might be taken with a grain of salt. ————— “That’s it, Herivaldo ... fuckin’ bring it! Edited September 5, 2019 by Riobard Quote
