Members mvan1 Posted August 26, 2019 Members Posted August 26, 2019 Frequent travelers from the U.S. to Brazil know that American Airlines has the most number of flights from the U.S. to Brazil than any other U.S. airline. Frequent flyers might also be aware that American Airlines is having lawsuits with their mechanics because of alleged intentional delays by mechanics to fix mechanical issues on flights or perform normal aircraft maintenance. Customers get difficult and cranky with airlines employees when their flight is late or cancelled. As a result, the employees from American Airlines have been getting nasty and cranky with passengers who complain about late or cancelled flights. Management at American Airlines has issued instructions to their employees instructing them to be nice to passengers. Normally, instructions like that would not be appropriate. Things must be bad when management has to instruct employees to stop being so difficult to passengers. Those going to Brazil might want to consider using a different airline until the issues with American Airlines mechanics is resolved.
