Members Lucky Posted August 2, 2019 Members Posted August 2, 2019 Oh please! I am not asking you to lie with me! I am reporting on a novel which I just finished, and yes, it's titled Lie With me, A Novel by Philippe Besson. The translation, surprisingly, (to me) is by Molly Ringwald. It's a French coming of age story that is touching and tragic, but above all, well-written. Not everyone reads fiction, but this one is short and semi-sweet. Well worth it. TotallyOz Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I'll read it thanks. I saw Molly Ringwald a Jonathan Larsen prequel to Rent in an off Broadway production. She was amazing. Interesting she translated it. Quote
