There seems to be a disagreement among some that say there are hardly any twinks and some say they are half of the sauna staff. My guess is that there is a difference of opinion as to what a twink is..... I'm planning a trip to first trip to Brazil. Probably headed to Rio. While I know there are many hunky/tops and hunky/versatile guys I'm not really into them....I'll leave them to all the fans out there. I'm only a top and prefer not very masculine, young, boyish, twink bottoms. There must be many in Brazil but can I find them in the saunas??? Which saunas would be best? If not the sauna then what app or website should I use? I'm looking for your advice. Thanks in advance. Quote

I lived in Thailand for 6 years....BKK for 2.....Pattaya is full of them as well as BKK.....but I'm interested in South America....I've only been to Colombia but went there to visit one particular boy. Which saunas would be best? Quote

There are a variety of guys at the saunas which has been written about previously. When I visited some years back, there were more than three saunas each in Sao Paulo and Rio de janeiro. Twinks were there, but they were not at the top of the list for me. Today, the number of saunas in both of these prime cities is limited, so visit ALL. More than likely these guys might charge more than R$100 and R$150, but when you calculate and check the exchange rates, this is NO MONEY as compared to the US dollar and Euro and to what escorts in the US and Europe and Canada request! Axiom: References to cost in other countries are meaningless IMHO and overpaying makes for ugliness towards Americans from locals! he is asking for facts not outdated opinions! and btw a lot of the guys on netgay can be found working in the saunas for 1/2 the price on netgay! I wasn't advising future travelers to spend more than asked-- I wanted to instill in one that although R$100 to R$150 seem a lot, it, in actuality it is not and not to fret or try to lower the requested fee unless that is the guy's (client's) thing. Tomcal Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 there is the 2 saunas in SP, Lagoa and Fragata, i have not been to Fragata in the last 5 or 6 years but then there were more twinks then you would find at Lagoa. there is a bar that has a darkroom, in Centro that has some twinks too. there are always some twinks at Lagoa just not a huge selection. Chances of finding them in some quantities is better at Mezziniu in Porto Alegre or at Olympus in Belo Horizonte Quote

I used to participate to a private group the members of which had an extremely precise definition of "a twink". For these extremists, the twink had to be maximum 20 years old, skinny, totally hairless, with a nice face, should I add white ?,.... Of course it is not easy to find someone corresponding to all criteria. If you accept not to meet one or two criteria, the place I saw the most twinks, without any doubt, is Mezzaninu in Porto Alegre. It is 3 years since I do not go there but there is no reason why this would have changed. Meio Mundo was another place where twinks could be found. From my 3 visits to Lion s, I can say that there are indeed twinks in Lion s. Some might be the same than the ones who were going to Meio Mundo. Some can also be found in Pointe 202. The worst place to look for twinks are certainly 117 and Lagoa. Also never saw a twink in Belo Horizonte Quote

Rio and SP only have two or three saunas - why not visit a different sauna each night, if no guys you like it's possible to visit another sauna the same night. Brazil is truly the most wonderful place for guys no where like it! You will surely find guys you like in saunas and grindr etc. axiom2001 1 Quote

I guess I'll visit both SP and Rio on my first trip. I see so many twinks online for SP I think I will make a few dates ahead of time or maybe as a back-up plan. Quote
