Members RockHardNYC Posted May 31, 2019 Members Posted May 31, 2019 I never felt safe in Santo Domingo. I'm tall, white, and look wealthy. Not a good look for SD if discretion is your style. I went once and swore I would never return. There were boys insisting on helping with luggage at the car rental parking lot. We were told if you refuse their help and don't tip them, they might slash your tires. That was the first turn-off. I don't recall falling in love with anything else. Signs of severe poverty were everywhere. My heart ached for the people I saw. We stayed in a luxury hotel but it felt like the weirdest juxtaposition. I did not love the hotel experience at all. Dark hair and dark skin is not my thing sexually, and I don't seek large cock when I'm interested in sex. So I was bored silly. My travel partner was a size queen, and dark was his fetish before AIDS got him. He was thrilled to be in SD, but in the end, he preferred Rio. He thought Brazilian men were more handsome. He loved handsome faces about as much as he loved large cock. axiom2001 and flipao 1 1 Quote

caeron Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Google "random attack". You'll get a lot here in the US too. It is our nature to want to find a reason for things. Blaming it on the country and poverty is easy, but the truth is that there are crazy, damaged people everywhere. axiom2001, paborn and Latbear4blk 3 Quote

However, there are plenty of places where quality work can be found and where communities have strong, generous social programs that promote good health and well being. Extreme poverty tends to yield extreme behavior. I don't like the idea of men/boys who are desperate to suck cock for money. IMO, many of those customers are sitting ducks, and all it takes is one bad apple to welcome the end of your life. Edited May 31, 2019 by RockHardNYC Quote
Members likeohmygod Posted May 31, 2019 Members Posted May 31, 2019 Well there's little pay-for-sex industry in Italy...maybe a bit better in the north than in the rest of the country, but it just cannot compare to East European cities (the old times at least), Berlin, BCN/MAD, or South America. I only have renting experience in the north. I met one love-of-my-life in his native Venice. For the four-or-so years he escorted, he did not use the usual channels. We have stayed friends for life. Men in Italy who like to swing all ways are traditionally more discreet. The action is not "in your face" so to speak. Aging, pot-bellied gay men with some bucks to burn should not book a sex trip to Italy. Sex in other Latin countries is much easier. Germany has always had a progressive market. Heading towards Russia may also be productive, especially with the huge success of Bel Ami. I don't love the Slavic languages and nor do I crave their food, so I don't venture there. But many of their men are drop-dead gorgeous. There was a Russian lifeguard at my gym's swimming pool once. I think he was an NYU student. He was extremely handsome with a hairless, built body that slayed eyes. He had an amazing ass. He had a strong straight vibe, and I suspect a bit homophobic. He did not enjoy other men staring at him or flirting. But he was fun to observe from a distance. Quote

In my occupation dealing with numerous high-profile and wealthy clients I observed that no two clients are/were the same except for the fact that they are/were wealthy (over the years some have died). None of the clients behaved in an ostentatious manner but some are/were difficult and demanding. I would love to know your opinion on how someone looks wealthy. SolaceSoul and paborn 1 1 Quote

I don't really know. I wish I did. I don't have a calculated presentation. It's something strangers (some escorts) have shared with me through the years. I've tried to get strangers to clarify, but all I get is "I don't know, it's just a vibe." Not very helpful. Members RA1 Posted June 4, 2019 Members Posted June 4, 2019 I was lucky enough to ride several times with a friend on a buddy pass to the South Pacific years ago. Most of the time we were lucky enough to get First seats. We were the only ones wearing a coat and tie with shined shoes (a company policy for buddy pass riders and other stand-bys). All of the other First passengers looked like refugees from a church bazaar sale, except for the obvious price of the clothes. I suppose if you can afford an $8,000 ticket you can dress as you please. Still, I had no doubt these folks were well to do or better. It is a combination vibe of actions, speech and other mannerisms. Best regards, RA1 paborn and BlkSuperman 2 Quote

No one has EVER used the term "waspy" to describe me. It's just not my look. In fact, I rarely can stomach British, upper-crust, Polo-playing males, even when they're drop-dead gorgeous. I have my own sense of style. I've always understood fashion, even when it's anti-fashion. I've worked with some of the most talented fashion stylists in the industry for three decades. I went to a film studio lighting seminar this past February. Upon entering and being greeted by the lighting manufacturer's host, he told me a special waiting area had been set up for me. I looked at him with a questioning face and asked why would you do that? He then apologized and said, "I thought you were the director." He had never seen or met me before. I used to write over at Daddy's about my experiences at the now defunct Gaiety strip club in Times Square. I was much younger then, but escorts always told me I was tagged as an undercover cop. It took some brave escorts to begin a conversation with me. Once I convinced them that I wasn't a cop, all went well. I've done jury duty a few times on drug cases. When I saw how some of NYC's undercover cops look and dress, things sort of clicked, and I understood the escort's reactions to me. Quote

An attack in a poor country might be robbery or, with a woman, rape. but this? There is always a reason for something - there is more to this story . Quote
