Members Avalon1849 Posted May 22, 2019 Members Posted May 22, 2019 https://www.cvs.com/drug/celexa/side-effects I've been having hallucinations for a week. They had started giving me this med. The doctor was just here; he comes @once a month. He only stayed a couple of minutes. He said that med could not cause it. He's going to send a psychiatrist in a few days to see me. The hallucinations - the ceiling above my bed "rolls". Quote
Members numerito Posted May 22, 2019 Members Posted May 22, 2019 Sorry to hear that, @Avalon1849. I wish you a speedy recovery and, if those hallucinations persist, I hope they involve fantastic sex with our favorite Czech Quote
Members Alvin77 Posted May 22, 2019 Members Posted May 22, 2019 Hallucinations sound quite worrying. Is there no other medication that you are taking? numerito 1 Quote
Members Avalon1849 Posted May 23, 2019 Author Members Posted May 23, 2019 There is an adorable young Latino (19yo) here who works in the activities room. Tall, slim, outgoing, friendly. The other day a fellow resident (female) asked him if had a girlfriend. He said "no". She then asked him if he had a boyfriend. Again "no" but no change in his voice tone nor attitude. This afternoon I didn't participate in the activities; but he brought popcorn to my room. ===================================================================================== I take @a dozen different meds; some different from the ones I took at home. Rather than a med some think the hallucinations may be caused by high blood pressure or low blood sugar. Quote
caeron Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 If you have diabetes, and your medications aren't right, that can be a real problem. Quote
