It is said that the price in Serbia is really low. Is it true?

Well, it's a pre-eu, pre-schengen, pre-euro country, so the price is lower than in Slovenia and Croatia, but still higher than in Montenegro, B&H, and Northern Macedonia. A decent meal in Belgrade is about 20 euros, and a quick bite can be as low as 3 euros. As I mentioned, 30 euros seem to be the on-going price for a fun session, so you get the idea.

OP did include an assessment in his original post:

Guys are not all cute but two traits are very noticeable and amazing

I have browsed Grindr and Planetromeo in Belgrade, and I can confirm OP's assessment.

If you like tall, dark, lean and handsome, Montenegro is the place! Spent time with a 21 yo university student working as a server at the beach. We stay in touch.

It's all relative. From when I've been to that region, people consider 500 euros a month to be a really good wage. Someone working behind a bar or as a waiter is going to be getting much closer to 300 euros a month.

It is a young community for obvious reasons if you think what was going on in that region with the previous generation.

Hey everyone, I've been to Serbia and I wanted to give my feedback on top of the excellent op post.

The gay scene is pretty much non existing, save for a few bars with mixed clientele and a sort of open-minded attitude that is pretty much all you can get in a very conservative country like that. Forget displaying your sexuality in public and be discreet.

The guys, as mentioned, are very tall and OH MY are they hung. There's quite a lot of active escorts in Belgrade, less in other cities but still available if you really need one. Not comparable with, say, Bulgaria where every single city has a dozen escorts, but it's better than nothing.

Grindr is a very valid ally in finding escorts, unexpectedly: I had several college-aged guys contact me on the app, offering sex for around 50 euros. They were very above average good-looking and even more hung. 20+cm THICK dicks for 50 euros, yes please.

Overall Serbia is a very affordable, safe and clean. Belgrade isn't the busiest or prettiest city in Europe (quite the opposite), but the guys are worth the trip by itself if you're into tall, rough looking balcanic slavs.

Any recommendations on places to stay? OK with bringing different guys back?

I stayed in a rented apartment specifically for avoiding problems/embarrassment at the reception desk, however it's still a European country so it really shouldn't matter as long as you've booked a double bedroom.

I stayed in the city centre by the old fort, it's a bit of a hilly city so a central location might be better than using public transportation or taxis.

There was a movie in the 80's called "Montenegro" about, IIRC, Balkan immigrants in Scandinavia. I've had a mental bookmark about Montenegrin men ever since. The other thing I heard when I was in the region was that Albanian men are gorgeous but utterly unavailable/unapproachable except, maybe, when they are outside their country.
