Members Avalon1849 Posted March 23, 2019 Members Posted March 23, 2019 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabapentin This is the med my doctor prescribed for my foot pain - a burning sensation. This pain is different than the usual diabetic foot pain. I take three per day. I have 90 tablets. The doctor said it may take a week to work. When I went to the ER it was because of this foot pain. I told them several times but they ignored it. The ER doctor did give a prescription for the pneumonia he saw on my lungs Azthromycin , And he prescribed a substitute for Ibuprofen called Acetaminophen. Quote

Members RA1 Posted March 23, 2019 Members Posted March 23, 2019 Lay person's opinion. Neurontin is prescribed for foot pain. In my experience with several sufferers, it has a limited chance to work. It is somewhat likely that you have idiopathic nephropathy. That means docs do not know what is causing it. I suggest more beer. Best regards, RA1 Quote
