Why All of These Cookies?

Taking advantage of a slow time here, I will ask a question that bugs me. Why does Conde Nost get to put a cookie on my computer for each and every one of their magazines? I take them off, they come back. I am not knowingly visiting Conde Nost magazine sites, but even if I did, why a cookie for every magazine? Anyone know?

(Do you ever look at the cookies on your computer? Do cookie holders actually use them?)

I'm sure Lucky would settle for a few scars on the programmers' backs and the secret of the cookies.

Why have that, when you could have this?

When I posted this, I deleted all of the cookies for the various Conde Nasty magazines. They were all back the next day. I still don't know what I am visiting that gives me these cookies, and why for so many magazines that I have never once looked at.

I discovered why I was getting all of the Conde Nast magazine cookies. When I visit the New Yorker, a Conde Nast publication, they reward me with a slew of cookies.

I guess that you are "lucky" to not be in a Girl Scout situation.

Best regards.
