Members mvan1 Posted February 19, 2019 Members Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Generally, if one has to ask for a specific thing, the asking person is often not deserving - To realize a request was granted by the leader of Japan, a major U.S. ally (after it was requested by a psycho) is hilarious - No doubt about that! https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/barack-obama/japan-nominated-trump-nobel-peace-prize-after-white-house-asked-n972661 Edited February 19, 2019 by mvan1 AdamSmith and MsAnn 2 Quote

caeron Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 I liked Obama, but he didn't deserve a Nobel. AdamSmith 1 Quote
Members MsGuy Posted February 19, 2019 Members Posted February 19, 2019 Kinda agree on Obama's prize, caeron, but surely you will admit that getting North Korea to get rid of all its missiles and nukes merits a Nobel? OK, maybe not just yet but it's on its way; just a matter of months now. By the time the committee votes it will be a done deal. The Deal of the Century! So wonderful, so magnificent, the greatest deal of all time! Unless, of course, Pelosi and her low life Democrats somehow mess things up. caeron, numerito, floridarob and 1 other 1 3 Quote
caeron Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 I personally think he deserves some kind of strongest man in the world prize. Surely nobody else in the world is strong enough to haul that ego around 24x7. MsGuy and Lucky 2 Quote
Members RA1 Posted February 20, 2019 Members Posted February 20, 2019 IF the North Koreans denuclearize (and I do not expect them to do so, but hope springs eternal) then the Donald does deserve consideration for the Nobel. However, my opinion of the Nobel has gone nowhere except down in the last several years. I will agree The Wall will not keep out A-bombs. Best regards, RA1 AdamSmith 1 Quote
