Dems have agreed over & over to give mucho $$$ to actions that actually have been shown to work — on-the-ground agents, drones, etc etc. Yet DJT continues to insist on this — pure, crass, illogical — payback to his base. Of course technological means will enhance border protection as well as more agents. However, the border patrol as well as others seem to think a physical fence is desirable.
