pong2 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Busiest+best day apparently is WEDnesday=dia del cliente, with discount entry then (just 2 or 3€ off). Several guys told me that independent of each other. Weekends sometimes may have more customers as guys, but again thats pre-covid. This sauna is in the district called Eixample and has dozens of HTLs in all budgets. Note that as for NOW Espana still wants you to fill out an online arrival form for covid-vaccine and this will be checked at airport. Some airlines even refuse boarding if you do not have that. Due to this there may also still be a closure from 9 or 10 pm-at least that was last oct. Quote
pong2 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Have never been to BRasil/COlombia, so cannot compare. Did visit Thailand/Indonesia/Cambodia etc. many, many times and compare with there value is just so-so. The big advantage with most of West-Eur is that you do not have to prebook and choose advance just by some pictures but can make a choice on the spot. Quote

Also be aware of prime series vaccination expiry status, 270 days, unless you received a subsequent accepted booster dose, or I believe proof of infection recovery following prime series, that infection also perhaps having having a lapse limit. I reviewed this prior to booking for an upcoming trip. The above details do not apply to me, so I am not particularly paying attention to them. In contrast, Switzerland just removed these entry requirements, so places like Spain may follow suit going forward although its expectation for a booster dose for many visitors puts it higher in the requirements category. pong2 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Just arrived @ BCN airport a few hrs ago and making ready to go to this place (again). Yes, Spain still has its strict entry PLF forms, airlines also check that, but it was much easier this time as 2 month ago at Malaga. In fact my vacc EU-report is on print only but they did not even want to see it, whereas they certainly checked it all last time. NOTE again: as for now Thermas is still NOT open 24 hrs, but from around 14/15 afternoon till 22 or 23 hrs evening Quote

Menaughty Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 How POC (people of color) get treated sexually in Spain? Just wondering. Has anyone had any bad exprience with a provider from online or at thermas? I was told by a friend that Barcelona has more lighter skin tone people and less pocs. Quote

I’m not a person of color but I’ve extensive experience of/in Barcelona over 25 years. I believe POC get treated equally. I’ve never witnessed in Barcelona the discrimination based on skin color that I have seen in various countries of Latin America. Barcelona has all sorts of ethnicities. Unless you’re very expert in Spanish, I doubt you’ll be able to tell whether you’re speaking to a Catalan, Cuban, Argentine or Peruvian. Quote

In dating market yes but when hiring it probably doesn't matter much but I am just one of many poc so I cannot say for others. I would say around 5pm to 6pm was most crowded. 3 is early. I usually try to get there around 4 because I don't mind waiting. The rate is still 50 for 30min without release. But I usually don't spend that long as I finish relatively quickly if the provider can get hard immediately and keep it for a while tassojunior and Tartegogo 2 Quote

Members Tartegogo Posted July 1, 2022 Members Posted July 1, 2022 Happy to report that even at 10 am on a Friday you can find a couple of cute Brazilian guys happy to service you for €50. Not much choice, but if you are just there on a flight stopove through Barcelona, and need to release some stress, even at this insanely early time, it seems it is worth checking it, there should be someone. Menaughty Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I am sure this is asked before but I'll still ask 😝 How do you pay the guy? Is it after session? Do you have to go back to your locker to get the cash? You hand it directly to the guy? Quote

Menaughty Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I have trip planned but I am confused on their travel restriction. I can do a PCR test. But as far as vaccination is concern I have had my 'booster shot' in November 2021. Their website says: Vaccines are valid from 14 days after the last dose up to 270 days. If more than 270 days (9 months) have passed since receiving the last required dose of their COVID-19 vaccine, U.S. citizens must show proof of having received a booster shot. The booster shot certificate is valid since the day it was administered. I don't understand the last part. My booster shot is past 270 days but are they only talking about the 270 days for the second dose of the vaccine? Quote

My booster shot is past 270 days but are they only talking about the 270 days for the second dose of the vaccine? Yes to your question. A booster dose overrides the expiry of the initial complete series and is itself not subject to expiry. Make sure you look up the Spain Travel Health form. I am pretty sure it is still required and while you can request it online ahead of time I think you complete it within 48 hours or 2 calendar days up to departure. I met the pre-booster criteria in May but I think there is a provision to identify all of your doses as you yourself need. You get a QR code, but bring other verification formats with you though likely not needed. However, there is lacking uniformity in Europe. It appears that Switzerland has imposed a 270-day expiry for a booster dose, and Germany has set this October 1st as the date at which a booster dose is mandatory even if 270 days from the initial series has not elapsed. Is it after session It’s standard to pay after - but I always pay before and get their agreement. I’ve only been hassled at Termas one time in many years and it was bc the person disputed the agreed upon price when the session was over. Paying before eliminates that potential problem & has never affected the service or time they spend and it saves me going back to the locker for money. I do the same thing in Brazil. They kind of look confused when I do it, but appears appreciated. If a provider demands upfront payment - that’s a red flag. Never had that happen in a sauna. Have had it happen with online guys. Members young11 Posted September 18, 2022 Members Posted September 18, 2022 i always pay after, 50 euros. No one in recent history asked for more, but if they do, just smile and move on haha. regarding the health form, I don't think it is required now if you are vaccinated (within 270days) or boostered. Booster does not have any expiry date. I am just not sure if it is good to visit sauna these days because of recent reports here. Sauna works only when there are good boys there Quote
