Members Riobard Posted December 7, 2018 Author Members Posted December 7, 2018 Copa has also begun adding the MAX aircraft to its fleet. Quote
Members Riobard Posted December 7, 2018 Author Members Posted December 7, 2018 The GOL flights, fortunately, are of not much use to me, so the problem of getting their site to work either thru URL or their app has no impact. Quote
Members Walker Posted December 8, 2018 Members Posted December 8, 2018 It's good to know 737max is a wide body aircraft (2 isles). Quote
paulsf Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 737 Max is a single aisle aircraft. The picture above isn’t accurate. But look at the one line above the picture. It says, traditional 3 seats on either side of the aisle. Quote
Members Riobard Posted December 8, 2018 Author Members Posted December 8, 2018 Right, the photo in the article appears to be a 787 Dreamliner. I think the photo below represents what GOL is calling "premium economy" in MAX. Quote
Members RA1 Posted December 8, 2018 Members Posted December 8, 2018 There are few "new" things. Years ago some interiors on 727's would allow the center seat back to fold down into a table top. But this was in the days before deregulation of the airlines. Most steady travelers, like me, considered it a bad flight if there was an occupant for the center seat. Often I had a whole row to myself. During those days on domestic flights I never had to make a reservation, just show up and get on. I carried the full size OAG (Official Airline Guide) in my carry on bag to choose my flights. Also you generally knew who you were going to ride by the city. If going to PIT it would be Allegheny, ATL Delta, LAX United, etc. Best regards, RA1 azdr0710 and Alaskabear 1 1 Quote
