Is Polyamorous now mainstream?

We read in the Playboy interview with Ezra about his poly group.  When I was watching a mainstream tv show called SWAT, they discussed this on the last episode and one of the swat members is joining a couple as their third. I think this is a great thing but did not know the world was talking about it. 

I had a few escorts in NYC who worked for me who were in these relationships and it worked well for them.

I'm sick of it. Told my bf about it Friday and still have him blocked.  

My #1 has 2 kids by two women he helps raise and has 3 somes with one of their mothers and her husband. He has another gf living with him, a gf in DC he spends weekends with, a bf he gets coke from, a cop he sees who keeps him out of legal trouble, a few others and me. 2 years ago we had 3 or 4 nights a week together and the live-in former gf back home had 3 or 4. Now I'm down to 1 night and shakey on that. And I've gotten gonorrhea twice this year from orgies they have. And there have been 3 abortions in a year. These are middle-class people.

We used to call it One Night Stands except these repeat weekly. I'm used to 3somes. 5,6 or 7somes no, no, no. That's just a once-a-week trick.
