update on singapore?

I have not been to gay clubs in Singapore but I was there last week and had a blast. I used Hornet and had 10 guys message me fast. I met up with 2 nice guys that were not escorts.  Both took a bit of work in talking to and spending time with and one needed a date. But, the guys that pop up on the apps there are amazing!

Oz, were the guys you hooked up with locals or Westerners? Singapore, like Dubai, is a major financial city and it def draws a lot of top tier escort talent into town.

Both were Asian and both lived there.  One lived there all his life and one was born in Japan. Both were versatile and both on PrEP. I stayed at the Intercontinental and had no issue having them to my room.  The one from Japan stayed all night and had sex a few times and someone I would date if I lived there.

Thanks Oz,

What do you mean by "Both took a bit of work in talking to and spending time with and one needed a date." They were interested in some kind of pre-sex social-friendly-romantic interaction?     I like that.....

Hornet better than Grindr?

Are there any worthy gay-sex clubs?

I normally can find a hookup on an app in Bangkok in less than 10 minutes. These two took some talking and spending time with as they wanted to get to know me first. One needed a date and we had dinner and a long walk.

I did not try any sex clubs there.  I have been to Singapore at least 20 times but can't remember any of the clubs. I did think Planet Romeo had a nice selected of Hungz escorts.

I have never been to Singapore but it has always been on my wish list. Can anyone give candid advice on massage venues where a happy ending is expected? The Singapore based websites I find useless for candid information because of censorship restrictions. Information based on actual experience appreciated.

When I fist went in 1987, all those cute boys were in hiding or in the Army. What a boring place. Didn't get much better after two more visits. Why go there when you have Thailand?

I saw the film Crazy Asians and it seems like a great place to visit...but is that mainly for the rich? I know it's a tax haven.

If you're white, Singapore is your promiseland :)

Singapore is the promised land for anyone, except for very dark-skinned. I know it sounds racist but it's a fact. I lived there for three years, and here are my observations:

1. Military service is still compulsory. For two years those young lads do nothing but sport and body building. Once you have a good body, you do everything to keep it. Singapore has one of the highest gym density in the world. Natural libido over charged.

2. Real estate price is over the roof. Most Sin locals live in stated financed apartments. But they only have access to these apartments if they are married or reach a certain age (35 yo if I remember well). So most young guys live with their parents and don't always have place for fun. It's a small city state so they are very cautious about going to a hotel with locals. Therefore, if you are a foreigner with a hotel room or an apartment to your own, and you are not too bad yourself, you are a catch.

3. I'm sorry to say but they do have something against dark-skinned people. When I was living there, I did some tests, putting some really tanned body pics on my profil. One of the first questioned I'd get was always "your race?" I sometimes answered "not Chinese" playfully, and the chat stopped there most of the times. Do they prefer more white than Chinese, I don't really know. I'd say half half.

4. It's a very rich city and most Singapore young people earn more than in the states. So no need to worry about them asking for money.
