Upcoming Bangkok Trip...Recommendations requested and appreciated....

Headed back to Bangkok next week for a quick shopping trip and pretty much have my itinerary planned out but have a few openings and would like some feedback...

Get in Thursday afternoon...heading straight to hotel to shower and change and then headed to MBK for fitting for slacks and suits....

I plan to eat a late lunch there and then either head back to the hotel to take a nap, depending on how I feel or get a massage...

Evening will definitely start at Khaosan for more massages and street food/light shopping...maybe stop by Patpong for more shopping

Friday is wide open...I need to figure out some things to do...Would love to sleep in after breakfast at the hotel...

Saturday morning definitely going to Chatuchuk for shopping...will either go to high tea after shopping or go back to the hotel to shower and change and have a spa day...

Head back to MBK to pick up my clothes....

Saturday night Ill maybe take in a sex show or just hang out at Khaosan and maybe Patpong....

Sunday will definitely get up and have breakfast before heading back to the hotel....

I have visited all of the touristy sights in BKK, been to Safari World....would love to try something different.

Thanks in advance....

Dont bother to go to KhaoSarn just for massage-useless. You can get (normal, Thai etc.) massage everywhere/anywhere, incl. MBK. Plus that with BKK-traffic late pm its horrendous-though there is also a clutterfree boat along the utmost dirty Klong Saen Saep canal-not adjacent, but fairly close to both KSR and MBK.

(hint: as you are posting on this site: a fairly new m2m+more massage has set up pretty close to MBK_near Airportlink/BTS stop further on, name is ganymede-spa), gets good reviews.

The generous BMA=Bangkok city administration has now also KhaoSarn cleared of those pesky (or so they think) street vendors, whcih was softened untill ''only after 16/17.00'' after numerous protests.

In general BKK is pretty short on real touristy sights-most regulars come for shopping or the other well-known extra's. In weekends there are several, mostly aiming local Thais, but all are quite far out of centre-town (like floating markets, temple fairs and the like). There used to be a site listing a lot of these, but this has gone off.

IF you are fit and able and in to it)dont try on rainy days) do a guided cycle-tour, there are several and they also start from all touristy areas.
