Members Lucky Posted July 31, 2018 Members Posted July 31, 2018 When is a person too old for the sauna boys? How heavy can they be before the boys start saying no? Is this ever a consideration/ I am certainly older and fatter than I was on my first trip to Rio in 1999. Seriously, I am not worried about it, but I used to delude myself that the sauna guy might be attracted to me. I know, that happens once in blue moon and only on Viagra. Quote

Weight in the southern hemisphere does not share the same relevance with the north. I've met quite a few fit, gorgeous young men who adore their XXL guys. 2 hours ago, Lucky said: I am certainly older and fatter than I was on my first trip to Rio in 1999. There are many benefits to carrying less weight as we age. 2 hours ago, Lucky said: I used to delude myself that the sauna guy might be attracted to me. Attraction is a very personal, individual thing. One can never know when the sparks might fly. There is this homely-looking gay guy in his 50's, a member at my gym, with a super small cock and balls. I've seen him there for over a decade. He has no worked-out body. I think he may come for yoga class. I see him hook-up all the time in the shower area with some pretty good-looking guys. I have no idea what the attraction is, but clearly, the guy has something to offer. I'm not a fan of being deluded, but I am a fan of leaving the door open to possibility. If your eyes and smile say "sweet, lovable and sexy," I imagine a lot can come of it, no matter what size you are. AdamSmith, Riobard, Latbear4blk and 1 other 3 1 Quote

I really think it is just about money... they will just say no if you make a low offer. Most of the guys are “straight” (ok, it may lead to a long discussion in here.... but that is the case), they are attracted by the money, not by the client itself (of course if you are nice it may help) but it is not the main factor. I am 30yo (not really fit, but not chubby either), and I am charged the same than an older or fatter client, the opposite is also true - I already saw some patrons that I would pay to be with them - and they were charged by the boys the same than I pay... However it may change if the boy is gay and maybe he is there not just for the money.... last week I was talking with a gay garoto at Club 117 , and he said that he always run away from clients who are over 50yo - but I never heard anything about weight. Members Lucky Posted July 31, 2018 Author Members Posted July 31, 2018 I hope that you guys know my post is a bit tongue in cheek. In the gym yesterday I noticed some severely overweight people and wondered how they would do at the sauna. My guess was that the guys would want their money just the same as mine. Also at the gym I was looking at this hot young hunk when his mate said "There are a lot of old guys here." I laughed and pointed at myself, which got a laugh from them. I don't want to exaggerate- I am 70 and not terribly fat. But I know that is a lot for some youngsters. I went with a friend to a bathhouse in LA years ago and they turned him away for being too old. He was 46. Latbear4blk and Badboy81 2 Quote

It wasn't obvious to me. When I think tongue in cheek, the image in my brain is only appropriate in the new "porn" section. You know, a butt-hungry tongue in sweet, legal boy ass. I wasn't getting that image from the OP. AdamSmith 1 Quote

There is no age....I have seen sauna boys that are definitely in their 40s and while I think they should have long retired, they must be getting clients....There is a snag for every rag...as my mother says... Heavy....How much are you willing to pay....I have seen fatties in the sauna and I don't think you will get turned based on your size as long as the money is right... Age and size wont be a deterrent based on how much money you are paying... There are definitely guys in the sauna that may be attracted to clients...there are tons of attractive guys that go to the saunas BUT first and foremost, the money is the most important factor... Deluding yourself is never good, although we all have done it.... Quote

There is always somebody younger....hotter...better looking just like there is always somebody who is older, more unattractive, and not quiet as good looking... Keep in mind, there is a snag for every rag.....meaning...there is somebody for everybody out there... Lucky 1 Quote

Back about 2004 and 2005 there was a wealthy huge fat (at least 450 pounds) older man who used to visit Rio. The man was from Spain. His name was Paco - Some posters here might remember him. He was so huge and fat, it was not possible to guess his age except to know that he was not young. He started his night by having three of his regular "body guards" (strong garotos) accompany him to a gay hustler cafe called Corujinha's, a couple of blocks from the beach in Copacabana. After sitting there a while admiring the hustlers with his garotos, Paco would have the three "body guards" lift him out of his chair and carry him to a waiting truck. From there Paco was taken to Pointe 202 and carried or hoisted up the stairs into Pointe 202. Thus, the above questions asking if someone is too old is not easy to answer when you think about that man named Paco. I have not seen him around since about 2005 and I suspect he no longer goes to Rio or to the saunas. I never see him in Barcelona even though he is from Spain. Did he consider himself too fat or too old? I think not! Latbear4blk 1 Quote
Members trencherman Posted August 2, 2018 Members Posted August 2, 2018 We disrespectfully referred to him as Jabba the Hut in our private conversations and public comments on Gay Brazilian travel forum of the time. Btw, anybody been to Corujinha’s lately or better still, anybody knows where the action has moved to? Latindude 1 Quote

It's fairly common for ageing folk to be in denial about many things. Very few people want to admit their "old" even when they reach a certain age. I don't know anyone who carries 400+ pounds in weight. There is certainly nobody like that at my health club. I can't imagine such a person getting and sustaining an erection, so what kind of sex life is that? However, if you derive pleasure merely by touching, feeling, and seeing, then so be it. For some guys, a memory of what once was has to be enough. Quote
Tomcal Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Paco(as In Paco Raban)had his main home in the Canary islands and came from a Very Wealthy Spanish family. He always had a entourage of 3 bodyguards, a couple of middle age friends, a drag queen or two, always at least 8+ people. He was often at the table next to the group I was with at Corujinhas many times from about 2003 to 2006 or 7. You are right he was at least 400+ lbs. and I remember the restaurant who put 3 of the plastic chairs stacked on top of each other so they support his weight! I never figured out how he got up the stairs at Pointed because the stairway is now wide enough to have a guy on either side of him...he died about 9 years ago. now, I always thought one of his bodyguards was hot. I am not typically attracted to bodybuilder guys but there are always exceptions and after seeing this guy over 2 years I finally got to meet him when "paco" was back in the Canary Islands and this bodyguard stayed in Rio. I can't remember where I ran into him, it was one of the gay clubs probably LeBoy We met up several more times over the next year. He did several films where he was always the top but in his non screen career he was a bttm. Somewhere I have a link to one of his videos with "Diego" who many know and who is a regular at 117 Alaskabear 1 Quote

Members SolaceSoul Posted August 3, 2018 Members Posted August 3, 2018 Not to sound like a broken record (it seems like many of us often repeat the same stories for different posters), but one of my travel buddies is very overweight. He’s about 6’2” and I’d guess 360 - 385. He never has a problem finding pay boys and sauna boys whenever we travel. I am sure he pays a little more than me, baded on what I heard from gossipy garotos — but he doesn’t care and neither do I. The point is he enjoys himself. I do know that he would be happier at s smaller, healthier weight, but that’s his struggle, and we all have our demons. And my friend isn’t older. He is probably early 40s (being that size concerns me for him because I had another obese friend who died in his sleep when his heart stopped at the age of 41). Please note: my friend, like the above mentioned Paco, has money and he is willing to spend it on what he wants. Don’t be foolish, an obese poor (or stingy) person is not going to get the red carpet treatment with hot, younger, built guys — not even if they smile and laugh and are always the fat jolly life of the party (though it does help to be nice). Regarding old age, if you’re older and sexy, or older and monied, or preferably both — no problem. Denzel Washington is in his 60s. Sean Connery can probably still get it. Again, with the economics, if you’re old, fat and poor (or just stingy with the retirement check), don’t expect young hot garotos or trophy boys to be lining up for you. mvan1 1 Quote
