Well, thank you Kellyanne Sanders. That's one way to put a positive spin on the truth. Nothing like trapping the second-class beings in-between parentheses and using lower case.

Gentlemen is in upper case because they were the ones participating in that particular conversation.

The Ladies stayed out of it, but the admin realised the message was for everyone.

Frankly given the situation, I could have written this way. Call me a sexist asshole too.

Without knowing the source and his intent, I would never do that.

Really Adam? I mean, really? Feel free to pass me what you be smokin'.

I will gladly reply, if you can say what you mean in a way I can understand. I honestly don't.

I guess from having a eye problem this month I noticed that the other site is unique in still having default  Times New Roman-like Serif fonts. Those are damn hard to read with eye trouble. Makes me appreciate our good old Sans-Serif Arial here even more. I can see what someone's trashing me with easier and spell my return insults better.

I'm not the owner or moderator of this board, but, if a board is going to have a TOS, it can't have respectful members if no one enforces it. IMO, name calling and personal attacks should be grounds for termination. There is more than enough ugly in this world. Most of us don't come here in search of more of it.

I don't engage in name calling yet I have my fights on daddys and I guess on here too. We can always argue in a more civilized way.

The owner of a forum board matters. Board owner's determine their own definition of civilized, so behavior and enforcement of TOS rules can vary. Hooboy seemed to love the drama behind troll behavior, and he allowed it to fester to the "meltdown" stage, more than once. It became a running joke. Many gay men enjoyed that dysfunctional mud pit. I did not.

Daddy is on record saying he loves RuPaul's Drag Race. If you enjoy catty men dressed as over-painted women acting like sexless banshees, then chances are you'll enjoy a gay forum where uncivilized behavior is permitted.

Many people use name calling because they have nothing more intelligent to say. I am proudly called an elitist, because I strongly believe in education.

I coulnd't agree with you more!

Btw I joined here last week. I've been active in daddy's forum since I 2012, before I was a reader and a reviewer.

I famously joined Hooboy's in 2005 to save Benjamin Nicholas from the fire-breathing dregs. Before that, I read the review site daily. I hated the forum. For many years, I contributed reviews under an alias that remains private. Once I joined the forum, I stopped writing reviews. My last post on Daddy's board was in January 2013.

Just some minor history.

Benjamin is a nice "kid", still around and going strong in the business.

He defeated the "Dallas mafia" and proved it to be a myth, he got some requests to go after the "Boston mafia".

(Dallas mafia was the name it was given to the flaky clients "big hat no cattle" from that city)

I like to think of Benjamin Nicholas as a young man. Closer to the truth. Occasionally, some smart, talented, handsome guys get into this business for perfectly decent reasons. They grow up, taking care of themselves, while developing into good men. Some escorts know how to make the business work in a positive way for all concerned. I wish this was the norm for the industry.

I agree with you, he's aging in a great way! Hard to do that in a state like Texas that is one of the fattest in the country.

I don't know how he does it. For some Dorothys, there's no place like home. Every time I had business in Texas, I couldn't wait to leave. And given BN's love of theater and the arts, I thought for sure I'd see him one day, living in Manhattan, as near as possible to me.

Also gingers (and blondish) usually don't age well, he's the exception!

Why must one argue?

It is really not becoming.

There is a nice way to express disagreement without resorting to name calling.

Elevated thoughts delightfully expressed!

Let's make a new rule: No gossiping about folks at the table.

And if one simply must address someone directly,  one's remarks MUST be prefaced by "Bless your heart...".

Can you gossip about folks at the table? If the table isn't long and huge, that would take a lot of nerve.

My greatest fear regarding the popularity of the "Housewives" series is that ordinary people end up believing that this is how people are supposed to behave. In effect, the TV show sanctions the behavior simply because it's on TV. That's just one reason why I despise Andy Cohen and root for his failure. He's today's Jerry Springer, and he's debasing civil discourse. I hate the fact that he's a gay man making money off of this SHIT.

Andy and I have been invited to the same parties. I always turn those invites down because I don't want to meet him. I'm actually afraid of what I'd say to him, to his face, if I ever did meet him. I'm likely to spit, and I've never done that before.

1. Don't start threads about other posters.

30 days at the top of the forum. 1,867 page views later. 93 replies later.

This dilatory action makes Michael Brown's undertaking of hurricane Katrina look like a first rate response. This dereliction of enforcing forum civility rules appears to be self-serving for clicks, at best, or just sadly personal at worst.

Either way - it's a horrible look for a forum owner and administrator.

And while the two biggest and thirsty gossip queens in this thread loved heaving drivel about what they knew absolutely nothing about -- all the while spewing their self-serving righteousness and calls for civility in others; it just goes to reaffirm that hypocrisy comes in all shapes and colors, no matter how publicly and continually self-aggrandizing one might be.

Now that the forums are finally refreshing and delightful, cleansed from the three prolific posters which Lucky deemed scourge and troublemakers, I'm sure the up-tick in traffic and non-stop fun here will now be through the roof!

1. I'll ignore the Michael Brown comment.

2. Definitely a dereliction of not enforcing the rules as I didn't fully read it and should have.

3. Could care less about clicks.

4. I have no personal ill will toward you or anyone on this site.

5. I love traffic but prefer peacefulness and gentlemanly behavior and no venom much more than upticks in traffic.  This thread was about Daddy's and I hate all those threads and should get rid of each one quick  I get brow beat for that.  If I let stand, the same. No win for me in either situation so I normally let them run for a bit and then move them here.

No, no it wasn't at all. It was about me. Larstrup.

You can't honestly ignore #1 and then take responsibility for #2. You just can't. Perhaps Adam Smith can get away with conflating #1 and #2, but you're no Adam Smith.

You're the owner and administrator of this website. What you should be doing and what you are doing is in conflict with your authorities and responsibilities. You allowed this thread to exist for 30 days. That's on you. Just like Michael Brown.

But the fact is that Larstrup claimed to be under investigation for a donation to Daddy. That should concern all of us, if it is true. I never envisioned the thread going the way it did.

We learn nothing more about the investigation.
