Members Lucky Posted July 24, 2018 Members Posted July 24, 2018 Since it is slow here right now, I thought to indulge myself with a topic of interest to me. Perhaps others will find it interesting, or not. This morning at the gym there was a guy who I thought to be perfect looking. He had a Clark Kent look once he put his glasses on, but his face has all of the right lines, especially the jaw. He had very nice eyes, emphasized with the glasses. He was in gym clothes, and his proportions were equal to a guy who is quite fit without being considered too muscular. He has perfect calves. I didn't check the feet, sorry. His clothes fit very nicely. So, once this guy leaves the gym, does he lead the perfect life? Do his looks open doors for him? Do people seek out his company? Can he possible fuck all the many, many people who line up before him? Or is just because I am a horny gay old man that I feel this way? Were my testosterone levels low, would I ignore him? Do people want to keep their lovers away from him? Lots of silly questions pop to mind. It's likely that people react to him as a total person, not just a total hunk. He might have a mean streak, or be so self-centered that people avoid him. I don't know. I am just wondering. Years ago I saw a guy waiting to be helped at the front desk of my workplace. It wasn't my job to help him, but I did since I wanted to look at him longer than a pass through would have allowed. I did help him and sent him on his way, but not before asking him, once business was concluded, if his eyes were naturally that blue. If he didn't know before, surely he knew then that I helped him because of that, at the least. One other weird work situation since you are reading this far. The closest toilet to my office was in a public hallway. I looked at the only guy in the room, he looked at me, and next thing I knew he was following me to my office. Once we entered, he turned and locked the door. That act caused me to come to my senses as I had no business even thinking about doing anything at work. I made some excuse about why he was at the place and what could I do to help, clearly not meaning sex since that had already been on the table and brushed off. What would you have done? Members Latbear4blk Posted July 24, 2018 Members Posted July 24, 2018 I do not know what I would have done in your situation, because I do not know much about you and your situation. I can tell you what I used to do. I was head of a department back in my younger Argentine years. I used to have a quite roomy and very private office. I was fucking horny. However, I would have never had sex in the office with a co-worker. I had never done it when I was not the Dept Head, it is just something I would never do. I take very seriously the job that pays my bills and having sex with a co-worker would be just stupid (I do not really care wether or not it is appropriate) and a too big risk to take. So I have been very professional in that respect. But not so professional either. Even when I would never fuck in the office with a co-worker, the situation is one of my favorite fantasies, I am pretty mainstream on that. I was a monumental slut back then, and could not let go that preciously private office of mine without playing there. Now and then, Pablito (I have shared about him before in the other site and in my blog) would visit me at lunch time. I would lock the door, tell my team I was leaving for lunch, and turn off the lights, there was a big window and natural light. We would play the job interview situation. I am getting a hard on right now just at remembering. If you have been in Buenos Aires, this would happen about once a week, or once every other week for about two years in the 4th floor of the building of the Ministerio de Salud, the one with Eva Perón portrait in the middle of Avenida 9 de Julio. To answer to the question in the title of the thread, yes. There are scientific studies proving that beautiful people is "luckier". I am just too lazy to google for them. Quote
Members MsGuy Posted July 24, 2018 Members Posted July 24, 2018 Ain't nothing new about this, Lucky. As far back as Classical Greece, male physical bauty was regarded as a sign of the gods' favor. According to some accounts, Alcibiades's political success in Athens owed as much to his looks as to his charm and clever wits. After all, it was his misbegotten and utterly unnecessary Syracuse adventure that snatched utter defeat from the jaws of victory toward the end of the Peloponnesian Wars. Cute, Charming and Clever are rarely the handmaidens of wisdom. That said, even Socrates found it impossible to resist the guy. Latbear4blk, Lucky, AdamSmith and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Members RockHardNYC Posted July 25, 2018 Members Posted July 25, 2018 Sorry, but you lost me at, "He had a Clark Kent look..." Clark Kent does nothing for me. Very rare for me to be sexually attracted to a dark-haired man. But perhaps this thread is not about me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is well documented fact that the more attractive your face (and body), the more chances and opportunities you'll have. But everyone blessed with wisdom knows that physical beauty is fleeting. Life is short enough. Youthful beauty is much shorter. Still, since I'm a visual guy, I love looking at a true beauty. However, beauty is absolutely no indication that the sex will be fun or hot. Many good looking guys are jerks. No matter how handsome they are, I wouldn't want to share the company of a jerk one minute longer than necessary. Latbear4blk 1 Quote

Tomcal Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 There were several studies done a few years ago showing “more attractive” job applicants were disproportionately offered positions with companies and at higher salaries! In the medical field, medical sales people are definitely more attractive and in better physical shape then the average person! They hire type “A” personalities and it is a big plus if they played college sports! One major Medical company currently have that requirement for employment on the west coast! Pharmaceutical companies seem to hire primarily attractive women 23 - 30 years old , to answer your question Lucky, i have found a lot of them do not have a realization that they are treated better because of their looks! they think everything they have achieved work wise is thru their efforts! not their looks! yet you will find that most of them are vain(this is my view based on 30+ years of working with the above! Most drug reps visiting doctor's offices in NYC are stunning. If the office is mostly women, the drug reps tend to be attractive men. My PCP runs a predominately gay practice. I'm not sure if the drug reps are gay who visit regularly, but the male reps who enter with their luxury briefcases sure are perty. Tomcal 1 Quote

I think the word you wanted is olfactory. I'm not surprised that many people can't smell. Some especially can't smell themselves or their breath. I've had my share of experiences with bathhouses around the world. Given my appreciation for beauty, I'm not shy when it comes to striking up conversation with a Ryan Gosling/Bradley Cooper type. More often than not, conversations are ended too quickly because I want to distant myself from the foul odor. My MO tendency is to encourage others to talk about themselves. It can be deadly if the cute guy is chatty and his breath stinks. 6 minutes ago, RA1 said: 5 minutes may be long enough It sure is long enough in the sauna at my gym. Members RA1 Posted July 27, 2018 Members Posted July 27, 2018 I had an Australian friend who lived in England. He was astounded that some English did not seem to favor a bath, at least not often enough. When he scored the first thing he did was suggest a mutual soak. Fun for both. Best regards. RA1 Quote

I'll take body odor over bad teeth any day. I find certain BO a turn-on. Squeaky clean only applies to ass. For me, it really depends on the stank. Licking an armpit is very much like picking a cologne. Certain notes are just plain wrong, while others are Obsession. Latbear4blk 1 Quote

My experience has been solely the orthopedic field, before i started my own company i managed a 8 state area for a major corp., hiring and managing over 130+ reps, since the average pay for sales reps in Orthopedics in the 90’s and up to 2009 was over 150,000./yr , i had los angeles and san diego reps making on average $350- $500,000. a year! they definitely were not dumb as rocks! Members RA1 Posted July 28, 2018 Members Posted July 28, 2018 Your original supposition suggested that appearance was largely the reason for their success, not their work ethnic or efforts. I am not suggesting that all good looking folks are less than bright, just perhaps a disproportionate percentage. Movie stars and generally nice looking, make huge amounts of money and many are dumb as rocks. Best regards, RA1 Quote

When working in law firms in NYC, I remember sitting on hiring committees and they often remarked how someone looked and preference was given to that individual. In the escort world, of course, beauty plays a big part of who gets hired. That said, I had sat in bars in Thailand and see what I considered the ugliest guy on stage get offed. That goodness we all have a different conception of what is beautiful. My BF, 14 years, has more tats that most of you all together. I love it but I know many would find horrible. When I go to the gym and I'm looking for a trainer, I often pick the cute young guy with the sixpack as I want to see him standing over me often. At the NYSC years back, I picked one and it took 5 months, but I finally got him in my bedroom. It was shitty sex, but well worth the investment. KYTOP, Tomcal, Latbear4blk and 1 other 4 Quote

He's very straight, ex-military, with two kids. A killer body. He doesn't lift weights. He believes in building a solid core through old-fashioned, boring exercise. He likes to give his clients a ten-minute massage after the workout. He never wears underwear, and it's easy to see his big, thick, flopping cock and low hanging balls in his sweat pants. I photograph a lot of actors, male and female, and many are overweight. There is a market for plus size in acting and modeling. A lot depends on the product and the description of the character. If everyone had to be an ideal weight, we wouldn't have Melissa McCarthy, Kate Pearson, Gabourey Sidibe, and Rebel Wilson. There are many more, and a lot more men.
