Guest Larstrup Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Former Trump Attorney and “Fixer” Teams With Anti-Trump Actor in New TV Show Oh, my! I’ve been talking about it, but if anyone is wondering if Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and “fixer” Michael Cohen really was prepared to turn on the president and reveal all he knows, I think you can stop puzzling over that one. Those who know the long relationship between the president and Cohen seem to be in agreement on several things. For one, Michael Cohen is absolutely the person who knows all the dirty details of Trump and his business dealings that he’d rather not be made public. And two, while Cohen was endlessly loyal to Trump, like a puppy dog, Trump was much less appreciative of Cohen’s efforts, and treated him like garbage. You can only take so much of that before you start to feel the strain. Add to the mix the fact that Cohen now finds himself and his family under pressure from federal authorities, regarding things he may have done on behalf of Donald Trump during the 2016 election (like creating a shell company to pay off former mistresses to keep quiet), and you can just about bet on cracks. Some of the reports I’ve been discussing include friends of Cohen saying he’s willing to work with authorities in his case, and most recently, that Cohen has become a bit more vocally critical of things President Trump is doing. It’s like that loyalty isn’t the most important thing, anymore. So what’s the latest? In an even more solid show of Cohen’s apparent move away from Trump, he retweeted a picture of himself with actor Tom Arnold, with no commentary. This is significant, because Arnold, an outspoken critic of President Trump, has announced that Cohen will be working with him on a Vice network program that centers on finding unflattering video and images of Trump. Just let that simmer a minute. Michael Cohen, the man who “knows where all the bodies are buried,” is working with an anti-Trump celebrity on a television program designed to make Trump look as bad, as possible. According to NBC News: Arnold told NBC News early Friday that Cohen ― who is under investigation by federal prosecutors ― talked to him for the show, which is expected to air later this year. “We’ve been on the other side of the table and now we’re on the same side,” said Arnold, an outspoken Trump critic. “It’s on! I hope he [Trump] sees the picture of me and Michael Cohen and it haunts his dreams.” It just may. When Cohen was reached by NBC News and asked to comment on the image, he sent them to Arnold. Arnold responded, confirming that he was in New York taping interviews for the upcoming program, and that he had met with Cohen at the Loews Regency Hotel in Manhattan, presumably where the photo was taken. The show will be called “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes,” and we can assume the ultimate goal is to get their hands on those rumored Russian pee-pee tapes. They’ll likely accept anything damaging or at least embarrassing and unfortunate they find along the way, however. From Vice: “The host will draw on his high-profile network of celebrity friends, entertainment executives, and crew members he’s met over more than 35 years in showbiz to dig for evidence on Trump’s most incriminating moments—and, being a comedian and all, he’ll have a little fun along the way,” Vice said in the announcement of the show. “He’ll be backed up by a handful of experienced journalists, and — aside from trying to uncover the tapes themselves — he’ll look into the companies and tycoons who have allegedly fought to keep the damning recordings a secret.” It likely won’t change anything in the minds of Trump’s devotees, but given the current political climate, it is sure to attract some viewers. Arnold isn’t revealing exactly what Cohen’s contribution is (of course not). But he added: “This dude has all the tapes — this dude has everything.” “I say to Michael, ‘Guess what? We’re taking Trump down together, and he’s so tired he’s like, ‘OK,’ and his wife is like, ‘OK, f*** Trump,'” Arnold said, laughing. Arnold also sees that Cohen has been used up and hung out to dry by Trump. “Michael Cohen showed up and worked diligently above and beyond and sacrificed and Donald Trump is like I don’t even know who he is. You think Michael doesn’t notice that?” Arnold said. To be clear, Trump didn’t say he didn’t know who Cohen was. He has announced that he always liked him (even though everyone around them would say he certainly didn’t act like he liked him), but that he hasn’t spoken with him in a long time. Does this new partnership spell bad news for President Trump? Difficult to say. Who knows what is out there that his past associations could make public? And speaking of past associations, Tom Arnold also spoke to Felix Sater, a former business partner of Trump’s, in May. He tweeted out an image then, as well, showing just how many from Trump’s past are willing to take part in a show designed to bring him down. Members MsAnn Posted June 22, 2018 Members Posted June 22, 2018 As a side note. I was watching Morning Joe this morning, and was surprised to hear that Donny Deutsch was such a good friend to Michael Cohen's, especially since he has been such an outspoken critic of the Dumpster.* At this point, I doubt that Cohen would have time to film anything, considering the fact that if Mueller has his way, he is looking at several decades in prison, unless of course.... * https://www.thewrap.com/morning-joe-donny-deutsch-compares-trump-voters-to-nazis/ ‘Morning Joe': Donny Deutsch Compares Trump Voters to Nazis “If you vote for Trump, then you, the voter, you, not Donald Trump, are standing at the border, like Nazis,” says show regular show regular ‘Morning Joe’ closed out a full week covering President Trump’s policy of separating the families of undocumented migrant children at the U.S. border with a blunt rebuke to Trump voters: if you voted for Trump, you are a Nazi. The comparison was made by the show’s longtime contributor Donny Deutsch. “If you vote for Trump, then you, the voter, you, not Donald Trump, are standing at the border, like Nazis going ‘you here, you here,'” he said. “And I think we now have to flip it and it’s a given, the evilness of Donald Trump. But if you vote, you can no longer separate yourself. You can’t say, well he’s okay, but, and I think that gymnastics and I think that jiu-jitsu has to happen.” The comparison drew no rebuke on set, which has grown increasingly comfortable name-dropping 20th-century tyrants like Hitler, Mao, Stalin and Pol Pot to articulate their disgust with Trump and his policies. Earlier editions of “Morning Joe” this week said that the Trump administration was taking children “hostage” and Scarborough himself said that the president was “incarcerating” babies. Trump ended the policy of family separation with an executive order on Wednesday, but questions remain about how currently separated families will be reunited. Deutsch has long been one of the loosest cannons at “Morning Joe,” and his remarks about President Trump and his administration are in line with what he’s said. After the president insulted show co-host Mika Brzezinski, Deutsch was so outraged to the point where he said he would become physically violent with Trump if he saw him on the street. Yeah, they've been friends for a long, long time. Duetsch is often on Deadline: White House, with Nicolle Wallace ( on MSNBC at 4pm (E). She ( served as the White House Communications Director during the Bush W. Admin) has a great program with smart and informed guests. Steve Schmidt is also often on air with her. Quote
Guest Larstrup Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Since we now know The Enquirer was funneling Trump stories, catch and kill stories about past sexual relationships and front-page layouts to Michael Cohen during and after the election, this should at least irritate, perhaps even outrage Trump. Of course these type things can always back-fire and play into the hands of the right. Quote

It will take something really big to take this devil down. And if the abuse of children didnt tarnish him, will anything ? Quote

Guest Larstrup Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Tom Arnold was once a cocaine mess. The question is, is he still a mess? I don't think so, yet it's hard to really know. And why has he been on multiple cable news programming all day today? The latter question, and perhaps the former is easy - but why is Michael Cohen AND even more so, Felix Sater (look him up if you don't understand his history) hanging out with him? Nothing could be more bizarre with any of this. here's the latest. Quote

That crap rolls off HIS back, and 15 minutes later, its forgotten by his base. He has been tarnished from the start from the rest of the country so thats a moot point. Plastic doesnt Tarnish ! And these Americans have a short attention span. We've now moved from murders in the classroom, to border separations. And neither issue has really been resolved. Just a bunch of outrage, turn your head, NEXT ! Quote
