Gotta disagree with you here....I've eaten at Thai restaurants all over the USA, and while some are good....even the prepared meals at 7-11 in Thailand can be better than many Thai restaurants. Thai ingredients that are usually not available in the USA can make a difference.

 

My favorite Thai restaurant in Houston (she doesn't charge be or my friends when I go, I'm her mule back and forth for things for/from her family), she is still the cook, doesn't teach someone else how to cook and people think it is "authentic". She admits the food in Thailand, whether it is street food, mall food courts, fancy restaurants (and 7-11) is better than what they serve in USA.

I've gotten a craving for Thai food (and massage) and next thing I know I'm on my way to BKK,lol

I'm at the phase of my life where sex is not the Priority, and isnt on my mind 24/7..  Especially if I have to pay to get it....  I'll hang onto my dollars to pay my medical bills.

If you are really hot, why would you stay in Brazil for $R100 and hour when you can make 4 times that in Europe and don’t need a visa.

I've found the Brazilians outside of Brasil (the ones escorting) are usually older , 28+...so they have experience and maybe have saved some money to get their passport and buy a ticket to go to Europe and money for an apartment, and start a "new" life.

I like the innocence of the younger guys 18-22 that haven't been fucked over so many times (yet) that they still believe.

This is definitely a “YMMV” topic, but I completely disagree.

Just like after a few years in the bright lights and big cities of New York and/or LA will turn even the brightest-eyed, bushiest-tailed freshest freckled-faced ingenue into a jaded and bitter seasoned game player, so goes the way of the Brazilians / Dominicans / Cubans / Africans that land in Europe. Maybe when they FIRST get off the plane or boat from their home country — but after a year or two, and definitely more, in a Western metropolis takes away most or all of the cultural charm and brings out the capitalistic vulture. I’m all for anyone wanting to do something that they view improves their station in life for themselves or their family, but if I wanted shady, shifty, robotic, greedy, mechanical, non-emotional, unsafe-sex-practicing, recreational drug-abusing, face-painted-for-the-gods hookers that make it clear that they are al about the highest dollar, I’d just keep my ass in Manhattan.

Damn, you go hard on this. Lol But don’t you believe that regardless of which continent the garoto is, he eventually becomes jaded after a few years? It’s not like São Paulo & Rio are small country towns. Those metropolis are bigger than every European metropolis.

São Paulo in particular is more of a capitalist jungle than than any city in Europe. They Throw the biggest gay pride in the world for a reason. They have as much of a “gay scene”. 

 

And the overall inequality Brazil is known for could make some even more bitter.

i mean, clients are gonna be clients anywhere. But in Brazil, Many garoto have to take a 2 hour bus ride back to a favela. At least in Europe, they get to go back to a decent piso or even luxury hotel room.

Wouldnt it make Brazil a worst place for resentment from older Garotos?

São Paulo is a VERY transactional city. It’s arguably the closest thing to New York City in the rest of the Western Hemisphere. The Garotos de Programa and even the hustlers there seem to reflect that — well before they age.

Rio and other parts of Brazil just have a much different feel from SP.
