Why is Boytoy blocked on wi-fi aboard aircraft?

I travel often and frequently to Brazil.  I generally use wifi when it is available on a flight.

It is a long flight between GIG or GRU and the U.S. (more than ten hours).  During the long trip, I purchase wifi to help ease the hours on those long trips.

I use the aircraft wifi for ordinary things including e-mail, whatsapp and so forth.  On occasion, I look at that "other site" and have never had a problem accessing it.  However, several years ago when I first tried to access this site from an aircraft, I got a message telling me that the site is blocked because of its content.   I usually try at least a few times to access this site while on each subsequent flight but I can never access it.

For those who do not know "the other site" the content there is not much different than on this site, except this site has more revealing photos.

I just left Brazil and used an air carrier that I do not regularly use for Brazil, United Airlines.

Considering that I was on a different airline, I thought I would be able to access this site from its wifi.  Wrong.  Although I did not get the message telling me the site was blocked, for its content, I could not access this site.  I simply got repeated messages telling me that I was not connected to wifi.  That was silly because I was connected and I could reach any other site I tried.  I also could reach the "other site" without any problem.

Both United and American use Panasonic for their international wifi.   Is it Panasonic that sets the rules for what content can be accessed?

I make many trips back and forth to Brazil and also use wifi when it is available.  Not once was I ever able to access this site while the other site is always available.

It is only the photos that cause the site to be blocked?

Does anyone have any idea why this site cannot be accessed from wifi aboard an aircraft?

Does Oz know?

Not sure if it is the site content or a judgement based on the site name and logo. I've never been a big fan of this site name and logo. Always feared if I came here my browsing history would be flagged as going to a pedophile site.

BTW: Gridnr was blocked on my last wifi flight and that is an App. Not sure how that happened as well.

I wonder why message-forum never is blocked.  If you read the content there, it is highly sexual many times.  Could it be Panasonic doing it?

Is there a way around it?

Thanks

Years back Daddys and Rentboy were blocked for me but this site was not. I think things change with time and who controls the features and access.

I use a VPN on my phone.  I travel a lot to Dubai and I find I need it there from time to time to view any adult sites. My worry is that the USA is moving anti-porn in many areas.  Just recently, Elizabeth Warren was a co-sponsor of a bill to deny bank access to sex workers. I know my take may be different than others as it is intended to be anti-trafficking but the result will be the same. America is becoming more conservative and the gains we made are slowly being etched away.

Daddy set up message-forum to be separate from the escort review site.  Maybe a good move. But, bad for his SEO. However, he still has loyal followers and that is all that matters. Over the years, Google has started taking adult sites out of the top searches anyway.  Sorry for rambling.

Even though the person who calls himself "daddy" set up his forum to be separate from the escort review, on the forum is still enough language and discussions about escorts to lead readers straight to escort ads and to the reviews by way of links.  Therefore, I don't see why his site is accessible via aircraft wi-fi while this site is not.  If ever there was a double standard, there is one, for sure.

Here is a link to the subject matter you mentioned about Senator Warren co-sponsoring a bill to strip away sex workers banking privileges:

I always thought she was a decent sort of person and a person out for citizen rights.  I had no idea how insensitive and bigoted she is.

Although I dislike Trump, I now applaud Trump calling Senator Warren - Pocahontas

There is discussion about that woman (Senator Warren) running for president in the next election.  If the gays got wind of her co-sponsoring this hateful bill, I think her idea of running for president is a doomed fantasy.

It is a stated adult site. Bareback sites are also often blocked. We listed ourselves as a porn site years back.

OneFinger, did you visit Rentboy.com? Or, did you have the same worries?

Rentboy is not a site I visit. And, yes, I would have thee same concern.
