I have no other details at this time. I am on my way to Koh Samui so maybe one of John's friends would be able to post the details of the funeral rites. Quote

I would not have replied to this but the information is incorrect. Firstly your information about John being Googies former business partner is way out of order. I know as I was the only business partner that John had in Topman. John bought Googie out as he was not the correct partner for the Topman business. Regarding John, I have just returned from Johns home near Ubon where he lived and have dealt with all the rites etc. I was his closest friend in Thailand. He was a very kind and quiet person who would not do wrong to anyone. I will miss his friendship a great deal as we kept in contact everyday. Our partnership in Topman ended after my car accident left me unable to run a business any longer. John took it on fully and I assisted in a small way when I was able to. We were a great partnership and I wish it had never had to end. John was cremated yesterday (Saturday) to which the whole town seemed to have turned out. John now leaves his boyfriend Nui to continue their business near Ubon alone, I wish him well. Goodbye dear friend. Quote
