Moon over Pattaya

Tonight around my Thai friend asked me to go out and look at the moon. It was beautiful and I was told the 2 small bright lights above it were not stars but planets (Jupiter and Venus)??????

 

I tried to take a picture but it did not come out well. Maybe someone with a better camera would post a picture

You can see them crystal clear here in Bangkok - amazing! Looks like a broad smile in the black of the night sky. But perhaps it's a wry smile as a hint of what is to come.

The two planets are Venus and Jupiter. Venus is the brighter of the two.

I normally steer clear of the beach areas at night but I did happen to be with friends one evening and there was a full moon then and there is nothing more beautiful than a night with a slight breeze and the full moon glistening over the waters.

I think this would make a wonderful picture for a Holiday card and would like to use it for my personal cards I send out. Are these pictures copyrighted if not for commercial use....anyone know?
