If this is true, I will seriously consider switching to Copa next year. Premium cabins in 737 are not as good as 777 or 787, but still beat the cattle class. And the fact that Copa is part of Star alliance is also a big plus since I travel to Asia and Europe too. Star alliance imo is the best among the three alliances. Quote
Members Riobard Posted April 10, 2018 Members Posted April 10, 2018 How can I determine my Copa status? I use Aeroplan for Air Canada and Copa , but fly Copa way more and that is where my points load up. They are both Star Alliance airlines. Is your Copa plat centralized with Star Alliance? Do I need to do some special registration with Copa? Maybe you are high user United and that boosts you? Quote
Members Riobard Posted April 10, 2018 Members Posted April 10, 2018 Mea culpa. I figured it out. I qualify for upgrade if I remember to strategize. But then lose my 6ft horizontal sleeper in otherwise shitty econ. Must never have been domestic stock. Can sleep prone, hammered, or head hammered. Quote
Members Uqtyang Posted April 11, 2018 Members Posted April 11, 2018 Check with air canada to see your equivalent Star Alliance status. Copa should recognise your status against theirs eg silver, gold or plat etc since they are both star alliance Riobard 1 Quote
