Members Lucky Posted January 20, 2018 Members Posted January 20, 2018 This movie was a thrill to watch. As a former newspaper carrier, I loved getting those bundles of papers which made my hands so inky yet smelled so good. Watching them come off the presses here after the brilliant battle at the Post over printing the Pentagon Papers was a joy. The acting is fantastic. You Better Call Saul! Bob Odenkirk has a big role and he delivers! So do the others, especially Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. I wondered who the cute actor was playing Katherine Graham's son, and found out later it is Stark Sands, of Kinky Boots fame. (I've seen his bare butt, live!)* The movie is especially good at a time when the press is not honored, when the Supreme Court would not likely support the printing of leaked government documents. I was proud to remember the role of the press back then. I do recommend this movie! *Sorry, Larstrup, for making a reference to a cute actor's nudity here on the Boytoy website! I should only focus on his acting skills, but somehow cute guys can be a distraction. MsGuy and axiom2001 1 1 Quote
Members MsGuy Posted January 20, 2018 Members Posted January 20, 2018 Is this Stark Sands? Possibly from American Idiot? My computer claims it is, but a lot of Image Search photos are not correctly labeled. For arcane digital reasons, my computer refuses to allow me to check behind the gif to verify identity. Lucky, it has long been my position that a detailed evaluation of the cuteness of the actors and their state of undress are essential elements of every film/theatrical review. If anything, I would argue that you should have focused more on Mr. Sands. Quote
Members Lucky Posted January 20, 2018 Author Members Posted January 20, 2018 I first saw Stark in Journey's End on Broadway, but he didn't stand out for his looks because his uniform covered so much of him. Then I saw him in Bonnie & Clyde at the La Jolla Playhouse. That's where he had a scene baring his butt on stage. It's a very nice butt. I saw him last in Chicago, where Kinky Boots was doing a trial run. As for the gif above, I can't say. It could be! I didn't see American Idiot. In B&C, he is in a tub. When he gets out we see that he is completely naked and gives the audience a long view of the butt. I can't find a pic of that. A still shot of the gif above is more clear. It is Stark Sands. This appears to be a photoshop of Stark: In The Post, where his role is small, there is a scene where he is sitting with Meryl Streep. He's dressed up and looking very handsome. I cannot find a pic of that anywhere, so you will just have to see the movie! MsGuy 1 Quote

Neither can I. Millions of hours of porn on the net, yet not a single minute of our dear Mr. Sand's lovely ass. There is no justice! Lucky 1 Quote
Members OneFinger Posted January 20, 2018 Members Posted January 20, 2018 I didn't realize Stark was in The Post when I saw it. FYI, I actually met him on Broadway during a backstage met & greet after seeing Kinky Boots. He's so down to earth and personable. Lucky 1 Quote

It's Sunday, January 21, 2018, and a couple of hours ago, I returned home after viewing and thoroughly enjoying this film. I saw similarities between some of the content in this film and the current political climate of the day. It's frightening all around, but I do have have hope and a little optimism!
