Saw the touring show last night in Salt Lake City and I was blown away!! What a fantastic play.

I suspect it was on Broadway the same time as Hamilton and was in the shadows. But, it is one of the best plays that I've seen. The music is great and I loved the numerous references to musicals that I've seen through the years.

Many of the actors in the touring show were on Broadway. I couldn't believe I was seeing this show in Salt Lake City and not on Broadway. You really don't want to miss this play if it comes to your town. I'm already searching to see if it comes to San Diego so I can see it again.

And, lot of great eye candy in the cast

One Finger, it was in Costa Mesa last November, but I didn't see any plan for it to go to San Diego.

I've done a search for San Diego. And, you're right, it's NOT on any list for San Diego. Since I'm planning to retire in May, I seriously doubt it will be in San Diego before I depart.

But, I'm keeping track of the show and hope it comes to my retirement location in Portland.

Portland? I have only been there once and liked it, but I prefer dry weather to rain, warmth to cold. To each his own, but I am curious as to why you chose Portland over, say, San Diego.

I currently own a home is Utah and a 3-bedroom condo in Portland.  I can live in Portland for less than $500 per month which includes HOA fees, insurance, utilities, and property tax. Can't afford to live in San Diego for that kind of money. Way too expensive here. And, the rain doesn't bother me at all. I much prefer that over the snow and cold in Utah.

Good for you! I didn't realize that Portland compared so favorably to San Diego on housing costs. I hope that they have an active theater scene.

They do have a very active theater scene at the Keller Auditorium. When I lived there full time I had season tickets. Plan to do that again when I retire as well as keep my SLC season tickets.
