Google is your friend..Any Airbandb in Copa or Ipanema....also look on booking.com for Apartments...Carnival will be over so the peak season is also gone so prices should be reasonable....

Again, what somebody else may like, that may not be your kind of place....

Also, you may want to be clear when you say gay services....Not sure what you mean

Just go to airbnb, put in Ipanema and your dates, then filter your choices to show only full apartments. Then click on the map and zoom in to show which units are beachfront. Make sure you read the fine print, because there are many units where, even though it is a private apartment, visitors may not be allowed. Mostly that would only be enforced/enforceable if the owner lived in the same building (not usually), or if the building has 24 hour door staff.

Most apartment buildings in Brazil do have 24 hour doormen.

I think "most" is an exaggeration. Most of the beachfront properties in Ipanema and Copacabana? Possibly. But the doorman is only important if the owner says no visitors allowed. If they allow visitors, the doorman isn't a problem. The doorman would only affect people who were trying to evade a no-visitors policy. It is definitely preferable to rent from an owner who is absent or who doesn't care if you bring visitors.

i agree with Torogen, the apt i have rented for the past 6 years in Ipanema does not have a doorman! there is the locked door from the street, a 2nd locked gate by the atrium and finally the apartment lock. all are owners living there except the apt i rent which is owned by a English guy who is gone 9 mo. of the year.  on the 3 occasions when i could not stay in this place the two other apts i rented in Ipanema only had doorman until 10:00 pm

Although I have not used their services for rooms or apartments, try checking http://misterbandb.com, the supposedly largest gay rental agency in the world.  A friend used and was pleased; he rented a room.  I'm checking out apartments in Barcelona for the autumn of 2018 through them along with my search in http://www.booking.com and http://www.airbnb.com.
