Members DutchDork Posted September 25, 2017 Members Posted September 25, 2017 Hello Wonderful People of this Forum I'm visiting Rio and Sao Paulo this November and I'm hoping you could share your experiences about bringing GPs to hotels in those two cities. I read from some posts here that it's almost impossible to do so in Rio without paying a fee except for a handful of hotels like Hotel Atlantico. Which hotels do you recommend to stay in these two cities that are okay with bringing GPs to the room? Which are the areas to prefer and avoid? Appreciate your help! Quote

Most if not all the hotels in Copa or Ipanema will charge to bring guests back to the room... I havent had any issues with the guys who look more European or if it is very busy but I strongly recommend either paying up for the guest or.... Members SolaceSoul Posted September 25, 2017 Members Posted September 25, 2017 The aptly-named Love Time Hotel in Rio, in Copa across from the Gloria metro station, and right around the corner from Club 117, the games garoto sauna, is probably your best bet in Rio. It's known for and marketed to adults going for hookups or "romantic getaways", the security is goid and the rooms are not that shabby. I believe they may only require local guests to be signed in by the hotel guest with their Brazilian ID -- if that at all. They do require anyone staying at the hotel not accompanied by the hotel guest to call up from the front desk before they are allowed to go up -- or the guest may have to go down to the front desk to sign them in. I have never had a problem. In Sampa, I recommend Bourbon São Paulo Express Business Hotel, in República, which is one block from the Republica metro station and in or around a somewhat active but low-budget gay scene, and in an area of the city with a lot of business and pleasure activity (but as always, be cautious where you venture). The hotel has never minded much when I bring back a guest, and has even sent pay boys / escorts up to my room without first having to announce them or sign them in. Once though, cuz it's his job, a guy I go with I THINK tried to "get in cahoots" with the staff for a surcharge that he might ostensibly share. I just played dumb but also said that was a first after many such visits. Anyway, did not pay. There are other reasons my radar was set off, but TMI. I said to C "that was close" let me buy us dinner as part will be covered by dodging the surcharge. You have to play 'em and raise 'em. They always lose a few pnts of stock value though. Quote

My somewhat funny Love Tine story involves me telling one garoto at 117 that I really, really liked that I wanted him to come by my room at Love Time later. Another garoto that I was not attracted to at all was eavesdropping on our conversation. Later, he showed up at the front desk asking for me. I went downstairs thinking that it was the hot garoto and it was this annoying, not hot obe. He told me that the hot one sent him in his place! I told him that I didn't care who sent you here, I'm sending you back! I ran into the hot garoto a few weeks later and he told me that the not hot garoto told him that night that I told him to relay the message that I changed my mind! What a crafty queen he was. Tomcal Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 I have never payed a fee for a guy in my room when I stayed in hotels! It’s about being a little smarter then the desk clerk! For example, the night staff are different then the staff that checked you in earlier in the day so I give my room key to the escort to hold in his hand when we enter in the lobby, they don’t question him because he has a key visable! Just make sure he is not barefoot in board shorts! I speak English to the guy even if speaks zero and tell him to nod, its worked 100% over many hotels in 4 different cities in Brazil! Since about 2009/10 I have only stayed in apts in Rio so the question is mute, but I do stay in hotels in SP and Porto Alegre. stripfan and likeohmygod 2 Quote

The prices are excellent, and I have not had trouble bringing anyone back to the place. TotallyOz Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I always book a nice hotel, Marriott, Sheraton, Hilton, Intercontinental and book for 2 guests. If ever an issue, and that is rare, and I'm told a guest fee applies, I just add them to my room for the few hours and then take them off later. More work for the office staff and they don't try that again. I like hotel guests and overnights and have had hundreds in Brazil and never once been robbed or mugged, etc. Be careful.
