Guest TOQ Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Do you guys like them ? This one seems OK john Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I think the guy is spectacular, but that tattoo spoils a beautiful Thai body. Quote
Guest xiandarkthorne Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I love tattoos...especially when they're erotically placed on a hot body. Quote
Gaybutton Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I dislike tattoos. I've never understood why someone would want to decorate his body with an image he wouldn't be caught dead framing and hanging on his wall. Some people find them attractive and erotic. I'd rather not find them at all. Quote
Guest Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I am probably in the great minority here but I LOVE a good tattoo. I find them sexy and is one thing I always look for in a BF. I have one guy now with me with no tattoos and the rest I see have at least 4 if not more. Yummy. Quote
Guest luvthai Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I hate the tattoos and will not off a guy that has them. Quote
Guest xiandarkthorne Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Tattoos....looks as if we have accidentally uncovered another great divide...*snigger* Quote
Guest Steve1903 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I'm in the "no" camp on this one. The guy in the pic would look better without the painting. Quote
Guest topjohn5 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Well, in general I do not like tattoos at all. I like twink and boyish guys and it just doesn't fit that image well for me. Having said that....I would and have dated boys with tattoos so it isn't a deal killer for me either as long as they are small and can be hidden. If they are on the neck so high you can't hide it or on the hands forget it as thats too gang-banger for me...... At one time I even considered, if only fleetingly, putting a little Fila logo (it was my nickname on the tennis courts, hahaha) on my chest where the logo would be normally....but good sense prevailed.... Guest topjohn5 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Ohhhhh and another thing.....those scrawny little mustaches have to be stopped!!! If you can't grow a real mustache then please don't do that thing that a cat could lick off if you dab a bit of milk on it! Maybe it's also my not enjoying the macho look or, maybe it's my love of all things twink but come on, please shave or just tweeze it off! Quote
Guest TOQ Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I figured this topic would stir the pot a bit. Well, since you didnt really like the first one, how about this one john Quote
Guest joseph44 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Thursday 20th November 2008 Two-Man Street-fight over bamboo tattoos in South Pattaya. In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police were called to a fight in progress outside a motorbike repair shop in Soi 17, South Pattaya. Two men were fighting each other and had both sustained injuries including stab wounds. The men appeared to be fighting because of tattoos the two men were showing off to each other. The incident began when the two men, who were part of a larger group, went drinking together. Khun Tirashai aged 23 lifted his shirt and showed-off traditional Buddhist Bamboo Tattoos on his body which he claimed would protect him from shootings or stabbings. The other man, Khun Gitisak of the same age, then lifted his shirt to show-off his tattoos which he claimed would offer him the same protection. This soon led to a physical altercation where both men stabbed, punched and kicked each other to test out who had the better protection. Both men came off with injuries and were later arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station where they were charged with criminal damage and fighting in a public place. PattayaMale Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I have lived with a Thai friend for over 10 years. When I met him 10 years ago he had a small tattoo on his shoulder. Over the years I told him how much I disliked tattoos and complimented his smooth brown skin. Since I had not yet retired we saw each other on a web cam once a week. Three years ago a few days before I was to return to Pattaya we were talking on the web cam and he said he had something to show me when I arrived. For some reason I asked him to turn around. He hesitated, but did and that is when I saw a tattoo of a sumo wrestler covering his back. I was shocked and really upset. I remember saying, "Why" and disconnected the web cam. I tried to understand why he did this. I thought it was a sign of disrespect, or maybe a subtle message that he did not want to be my friend. I sat and fumed for hours and finally decided that it was foolish on my part to ruin what I felt was a magic relationship. Well to make my point, we are still happily enjoying the life we share and as far as tattoos go, I still would prefer a body without them but have learned it is more important to see the heart and soul of a person.......sounds corny.......... Guest sydneyboy Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I hate tattoos. To me they about as attractive as an ugly scar. What that boy in the photo on the first post has done to himself is tragic. Quote
Guest piston Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 And some people like pistachio ice-cream and others do not. You are very naughty, TOQ. There can be nothing that merits being called discussion of this matter and you well know it. We just end up with a pointless list of 'I like this' and 'I like that' - very boring. On the other hand, don't stop posting the decorated guys! Quote

Guest piston Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Oh, TOQ, thank you! Writing from the UK as I am, it's a sort of night-cap; though I have to admit that it isn't the tattoo that my eyes are fixed on! Quote

Gaybutton Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Ohhhhh and another thing.....those scrawny little mustaches have to be stopped!!! You've definitely pressed one of my buttons, and it's not a gay button! I don't like those mustaches either. As a matter of fact I don't like any mustaches on these guys. I don't appreciate kissing a guy and getting my teeth brushed at the same time. For me, the mustaches and beards on young guys as unattractive as the tattoos. And to me, the tattoos are about as attractive as a runny dog turd. Granted, there are some people who are meant for mustaches and beards. The actor David Niven comes to mind. He wouldn't look right without his mustache. Can you imagine Santa Claus without the beard and mustache? How about Burt Reynolds, Wilford Brimley, and Clark Gable? Their mustaches looked great. Can you imagine Oliver Hardy without that little Hitler mustache? As a matter of fact, can you imagine Hitler himself without the mustache? And let's not forget Groucho Marx. But these Thai boys? Forget it. Please boys, wait until you're at least in your mid-forties, ok? Quote
Guest laurence Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Ohhhhh and another thing.....those scrawny little mustaches have to be stopped!!! Amen to that topjohn! I actually gave a Thai friend my Fusion Razor w/new blade and told him "good for lip" and anywhere else. Not sure if Fusion is available in Thailand so bring from the US or elsewhere. The blades last forever assuming they don't start on their legs. Quote
Guest Steve1903 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 no no no NO facial hair. Ugh! Quote
Guest piston Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I wonder. Could Steve, who was presumably born in 1903, be reacting against the authority figures of his youth? Quote
Guest xiandarkthorne Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 I don't have a particular preference, really, because for me, it depends on the guy. Some guys look great with facial hair and some guys don't. Same for tattoos. It is their choice, after all, but I have always felt that few regular Asian guys (except for the Western Asian ones) look good with facial hair while tattoos require some brawn to look good on a torso - bones or flab don't quite cut it for me, I am afraid. Guest Steve1903 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 WHAT!!! Me born in 1903? Do I look THAT old? No sorry, currently struggling with a mid age crisis. On that basis I'd in fact be Steve1963. The 1903 refers to something else. Quote
