Saturday, 06/17/17: I was at the resurrected Gay Pride program and forum today in Monterey, CA. It was stellar, and I was moved for about six hours from reflecting and applauding six individuals who put it on after a very long period of absence. While at the panel discussion later in the afternoon, I complimented those who were in charge. These, mostly young gays, did one hell of a job, and I do hope that they'll continue with this special endeavor for years to come. Quote
Members OneFinger Posted June 18, 2017 Members Posted June 18, 2017 Loved gay pride in SLC this month. Can't believe how much it has evolved since the early days around 1979 (my first involvement). Strange to me but gay pride here in San Diego is in JULY!! But, the parade goes right in front of my apartment. Have great access to the festivities.I love living in a "gayborhood" where rainbow flags are everywhere and most of the businesses are gay-friendly. I feel right at home. Quote
