@KevinC : That has to be some kind of typo or a trap for ignorant tourist.  I've never been asked for anything close to 150 USD in Colombia.  That would be more than 400,000 COP, an outrageous price for Colombia unless this guy is a high class escort who speaks perfect English!  Even then it is probably not worth it as you could have 3-4 guys over for that price.

I'm planning my first trip to Colombia (18-26 November 2017) from the USA.  I originally had planned to visit Bogota, Medellin, Cali and maybe Cartegena, but since I don't have that much time and really don't want to hop on multiple flights, I'm considering flying direct to Medellin from Miami.

Lots of hot Medellin guys on CB (even more than Bogota) but getting info so I can contact them when in Colombia has been tedious to say the least. Have had a few give me their whatsapp number so we will see how that goes and I still have 4 months to go.

I was happy to see the Fercho business and the other escort websites, very helpful! I was disappointed to see that so many of the Grindr profiles were fake or misleading. Guess I assumed that more of a US thing.  All the more reason I like Fercho.

I checked my AT&T plan and  it will be easy to add an international daily plan that will allow me to basically continue my current plan in Colombia for $10/day.

So now I'm looking for a place to stay.  I'm torn between a hotel and and an apartment.  I'd really prefer the space and privacy an apartment offers vs. having hotel staff play big brother. Yet I totally understand the security factors as well and have read this entire thread. I've been scouting out VRBO.com and Expedia.com

Hopefully the planning will go well and I'll have some hot stories and pics to share this Fall!   If anyone else from here  will be there in late November please let me know.

So this may be a stupid question, but is there such a thing as a quiet place to stay in Medellin?  Every time I find a hotel or an apartment I like, I read the reviews and they all say how noisy it is and that you can't sleep until 3a-4a. These are mostly in the Poblado area.  Even the most expensive hotels (Charlee) appear to have this problem.  Should I just scrap Medellin and go to Bogota instead? Is it any better there?

If I end up in Medellin Ferchos will definitely be a regular haunt for me!  Love those reviews. So freaking hot.

I have NEVER had trouble with noise in a hotel in Poblado. And, I usually stay in hotels that are essentially attached to one of the malls. I find the security of the hotels to be essential and always rent one ($75-120/night for a good one) even if I arrange an AirBnB for privacy. I should note that I have only done the AirBNB thing once because there were lots of Americans in the hotel I was staying in and I didnt want to risk bumping into someone I knew with un chico in tow.

Noise is subjective ... I am a light sleeper so some noise to me is silence to others ... "huh, what noise?" If sufficiently quiet I can sleep 8-10 hours uninterrupted (ie, home in Montreal). I expect intrusive sounds at night when travelling. It is a bit of a pain to add to luggage, but my solution is 'white noise'. Not for everyone ... to me, a godsend.

A Marsona sound shield unit, for example.

This very minute I got up from a power nap in Catete (Rio) having the aid of a Logitech speaker unit with my iPod docked in it. I use an iTunes track "Big water for sleep" or "Niagara Falls". I am subsequently spared giving stink-eye to the hordes of designer dogs around here whose piercing yapping would otherwise have kept me awake.

A festival in the Junina cycle had enormous acoustic vibrations in the 'hood this weekend, 3 consecutive nights ... until 5 AM!! Ear-canal-hemorrhage-grade subwoofers. In those cases I have good quality ear jacks plugged into the same iPod tracks if needed.

I have always envied those who can pass out at will. My friends and family members often offer to hit me over the head with a hammer at bedtime when I muse about ambient noise potentially depriving my beauty rest.

I empathize with P...r. Twice in the past year I have doubled up accommodations (one night each time) to get some rest.

I may have found a suitable accommodation. There is a full service Marriott opening in September. I will be there in late November. It's located in Poblado but has soundproof windows unlike the majority of hotels there. The hotel looks quite nice.

On another topic, I'm now finding more CB guys who are willing to hand over their Whatsapp number without asking for tokens. I  play hardball with those who ask for "motivation" or want to charge me to get their Whatsapp.   Another interesting observation is that a few CB people who were previously adverse to meeting are now all too willing to do so.  Times must be tougher than normal in Medellin.

Sounds like you have some talent for breaking in and reining in those CB fellas, P/r. Positive cascade effect for the rest of us.

Hahaha well hopefully that will be the case. I have one guy from CB who essentially wants to be my boyfriend for the whole time I'm there...and I sure as hell wouldn't kick him out the bed. But since these guys are famous for being unreliable, I'm lining up plenty of back up guys. And there's always Grindr etc...

My flights and hotel are booked. Non-stop from Miami to Medellin.  C'mon November!

@M2Sexy when you communicated with Fercho Masajes was it in person, email, phone or whatsapp? In English or Spanish?  I sent them a quick message via Whatsapp the other day just to ask a few questions. I used Google Translate to send it in Spanish, but they still didn't seem to get what I was asking.  Just trying to figure out the best way to communicate with them. I don't speak Spanish.  It seems you had no trouble getting appointments with the boys.

Hahahahahaha ... I went across the street in Rio to a local printing house IN PERSON to arrange for a batch of business cards. Actually, mine would be a simple "calling card". I knew for a fact, based on a quick 360 swirl in the premises, that "Allan" could do it ... but it always has to be a CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM \ SEINFELD-grade ordeal down here.

I wanted white card stock and I had hand-printed the details: my first name and my cellular/whatsapp contact info.

Standard rate 2 USA cents per card, minimum 1,000 ... $20 for the convenience this winter of having a calling card to dispense to hot guys on the fly and other community contacts to rather than fumbling on the phone contact field each time.

In Canada this would be a 2-minute transaction.

45 minutes later, with minimal social banter condiments, we had an understanding of arranging this in a way he could cope with. He was fully attentive, not at all lackadaisical (sp?)

An  additional 20 seconds, after much persuasive effort, for him to sit down at his PC while I showed him how we would enter the info in the standard template. This guy does very sophisticated business cards, BTW.

It can take longer down here to find the light switch, screw in the light bulb, find the landing runway for your needs/desires.

Sweet, rigid, and stupid pervades the planet. I am not insinuating it is geo-proportionally variable. I myself am not the highest-wattage light on the holiday tree.

So I’m going to Colombia next month, setting up “guides” from chaturbate. Trading WhatsApp’s and instagram accts. How forward is appropriate? Can I just assume all will have sex? I’m 40, gym 4x a week, play tennis and swim. Set up some training sessions too as these guys have amazing bodies. How forward can I be? Do I ask if they have sex? Assume they do? Play it by ear when we meet? Total newbie to this... would like to prioritize based on guys that are more passive but not sure if it’s rude to ask.

So what is the going rate for 2018-19? A few of the ads are in the US100 range, and higher on RM. Still learning CB to talk to guys there.

100,000 CP ($40) is fine. 250,000CP ($100) is outrageous even in Bogota and Bogota prices are twice Medellin's.

I’ve found a couple adorable Medellin guys on chaturbate. I’m going in two weeks. How much should I offer for a daily guide plus sex? We made plans to go hanglding, I’ll pay for it of course. Any thoughts?  If I like the guy I’ll take to nice dinner as well.
