I will share more here as requested by some members. Overall my experience in saunas was amazing but I liked 117 in Rio an Lagos in Sao Paulo. Both are close to metro stations, so next time, I would book a place near the metros in the same line. This makes life much easier because you can avoid the traffic. Guys at these two saunas did a great job and much better than saunas in Spain. Overall, the guys really try to please you, and can keep their tools hard most of the time and attitudes are good (except one guy) and good kissers. Even the straight ones do kiss but I felt some of them did not enjoy much. However, they would still kiss you if you ask and this is the biggest difference from the escorts everywhere else. That one exception at 117. I am usually a bit shy in the beginning, especially when I am among many hot guys. Usually hot young guys would be only into other hot young guys and I understand it is different in saunas, still it takes a while for me to get used to it because I still fear rejections. This happened in my second day when I approached a guy. He was hot but not the top quality at 117 because that sauna has tons of super sexy guys. Most guys here do not speak english but they are always friendly and patient, especially when I use translator app on my phone. It is a bit longer but usually gets the done. However, when I approached this guy, (I think his name was Diego but how many diegos are there?) he was very dismissive and wrote in the app that he worked there. I said, I understand and I am happy to pay. He just said 150, that is more than I paid in all cases, the going rate in december 2016 is still 100. Even it was pricey, I asked if he kissed, he bluntly said no. Being honest is good but at the same time from the beginning he kept giving me the impression that he is being bothered and was not willing to talk to me. Usually when I give a look to check them out, guys would come and introduce themselves and ask your name etc. As others said, it is sociable environment so a quick but friendly starter chat was the norm or me. But this guy was very different and dismissive. So I left but I also felt like being rejected because every other guy was much more friendly approachable. Anyway, I had more fun with other guys, so in the end it was good but still was wondering why he was so cold from the beginning...Overall the rates are 100 but I usually ask for kissing and topping me, so maybe different rates if you ask for more. But it didn't seem like it mattered because they all seem to accept the rate except this one exception. If someone is much better looking than others, ok, I understand but he was not. Even the really hot guy I had fun with accepted 100 but we never discussed rate (the only guy I didn't discussed the rate with because I left earlier and met next day) However, he was so good (from kissing to touching me and topping me and everything was just good), I gave him a tip of 50. Anyway, I also was observing him and he went with a really fat guy. Ok, maybe that is what he wants, who knows but I like 117 for the environment it has and guys there do a good job keeping it. If many guys would behave like him, I would not go to that sauna. I think the management should be aware of these situations to keep quality. 

Outside of sauna, I stayed in Copacabana. Surprisingly, when you open grindr here, it is just full of escorts. Probably 50% of the guys there are escorts. I talked to them just to see how it goes. The rates are from 100-250. But 100 was very rare, most guys ask for 200 or 150. 250 was rare too. I met with a guy next to me, basically it was 30m away, so we chatted. he was very friendly and quick. Also, very close, so it was convenient for me. I hired him one night and we were actually in the same building, so it was super easy. But when he got naked the tool was just way too big for me. Way bigger than the picture, which is odd because he could have used as a sales point. After realizing that I couldn't take it, I did just vanilla stuff. He was a good kisser and kept it hard all the time. So we finished one round and everything was good. He had a public photo on grindr that I could have shared but I am lazy...PM me if interested in big tools. He is probably in late 20s or early 30s though...

My next guy was a hot but a bit shorter guy from grindr. Again, he was in the next building, so made it really easy to meet. Every time I ask if they can kiss passionately and whether they have a problem with erection. I think it is important to have this agreement before meeting. Some escorts don't care about their promises before meeting but guys in Latin america in general were very good about their promises and always tried to make it right. Maybe I was lucky but most guys, even the straight ones enjoyed kissing. And this guy is probably the best example of above. When we met, he couldn't get hard (because he was straight!). Of course, this is not what he promised but I didn't say anything. We made out, I give him oral etc but he still would have a problem as soon as he tried to put it in. It happened three or four times, I was a bit annoyed but what can we do....I thought it was just a bad case and I lost 150, so I said I had to leave. Just out of curiosity, before paying, I asked how much I should pay him, he said no need to pay because he couldn't perform. That was really nice of him and I wish every escort was like him because it does waste client's time and if we have to pay, it is even more annoying. I gave him 50, for his kindness and left happy because he was such a good person. I am wondering how other guys here deal with situations like this? For my own safety, especially in Brazil, I was ready to pay but in almost all cases, guys were really good to me.

Finally, my tinder. as I said in my other post in Argentina, I opened my tinder and changed my photos to fancy ones to attract particular guys. I got quite a few matches. Interestingly, as we chat some of them would say, oh I wanna meet but I am jobless and I couldn't go there etc. In general I would be happy to work something out in these cases but I was so busy with really hot escorts there, so I just said, oh sorry, if you are in the area, text me, we will have a drink or dinner. But overall, guys in Brazil are pretty flexible and open minded. I was very happy that I had many matches with very decent looking young guys. Also, some tried to meet but they were traveling back and forth because it was the end of the year. Also, from my side, I made zero effort to meet so I felt a bit bad for them. If I have more time, next time I would seek some authentic experience from Tinder.

To sum it up, I really enjoyed Rio, and Sao Paulo to certain degree (it was too big, no beaches etc). I didn't have time to do sightseeing because I was busy with boys but I will keep RIO as my top destinations in the future.

Some of the garotos stick to the expectation of R$150, are less sociable and saliva-exchanging, know that 50 reais is a pittance to tourists and that we want to capitalize on the merchandise available over a short time, and they have little patience for negotiating or what they perceive as equivocating/dillydallying. He sells sex for 150, full stop.

They may leave some cash on the table theoretically, but a yield of R$600 for 4 programas works better for them than R$700 for 7 programas, for example.

Any one of these fellows drawing the line at their rate mirrors customers' drawing the line at a lower rate.
