divgradcurl Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Hi everyone. Been lurking on here for a while now. Your posts have made me decide to take the plunge and visit Rio in April. Can I ask though, does the stereotypical view of Brazilian men/GPs (at least the ones we see in porn), as muscular but smooth with excessively manscaped bodies, have a grain of truth to it? I ask because I have a thing for chest hair, I love stubble/facial hair, etc. Which sauna in Rio would be a good fit for me? thanks! Quote
Guest bobbalino Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Few and far between, IMHO, but not impossible, and some guys who shave may at times go a few days letting it grow out, though they often have torso tats and want them non-obscured. Some maintain short beards. More recently at Clube 117, a muscular macho stud "Carlos", a well-built extremely handsome trainer "Samuel", and a muscular extremely masculine fellow from Rio Grande do Sul state (whose name escapes me) who is a little more shy but has chest, ab, and pit hair and trim beard or stubble. I am drawn to smooth and 'nonscaped' alike. I gravitate to 117 rather than Point or NMM. I think you will find what appeals to you. I search a lot of Brazilian-themed erotica and have not seen any porn images as hot as some of the garotos to be had in Brazil. Quote
divgradcurl Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 thanks for your reply bobbalino I enjoy reading your posts and find them informative. I will be in Brazil for 11 days and was planning to spend the entire time in Rio. Do you think it would be worth paying Sao Paulo a visit? I know other posters have commented that the sauna scene in SP is nothing to get excited about, but I would like to hear what you think. Quote
Guest bobbalino Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I have only a few days of experience overall with São Paulo. I never left Thermas Lagoa visits dissatisfied ... I am fairly picky and always found a good match. I was a few Metro stops away. It is an enormous city, a little more inimidating than Rio. It depends on your other interests. The museum of art "MASP" has an impressive collection of late 19th century and turn-of-the-century Impressionism painting, and modern art spanning the 20th century. But there is not much else there of interest to me, other than fine dining which can be sometimes awkward at night when travelling solo, so I did late lunches at notable places. And found a dining companion for a midnight meal at Bela Paulista. Rio has a different "vibe" and the topography and ocean adds a "wow" factor unmatched in SP. There is an ample selection at saunas that won't leave you feeling you have missed out if SP is bypassed. And with 9-10 days to work with you won't feel rushed ... in fact, just about right for an initial visit. And not quite as hot in April compared to the current sweltering temperature. It might be more worthwhile to stop-over in SP if it is an inevitable connection or you can "multi-city" at the same or similar airfare. If making a stand-alone excursion from Rio and back, I personally would rank Salvador Bahia somewhat higher. I usually fly with GOL domestically; it is not formally listed as a Star Alliance partner with United and Air Canada and Copa, but is linked for eligible Aeroplan mileage points. Bear in mind that you may find yourself, like some among us, obsessed with returning to Brazil. As a brief aside, Copa Air, one of my two "go-to" carriers has some good rates in the Spring. I just booked a flight for the month of May from Canada to Rio for $800 USD equivalency. Quote
TotallyOz Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Sao Paulo is one of my favorite cities and I think well worth a visit for sure. I have always found guys in sauna with chest hair. Most are smooth but many do have hair. Quick story: I met a twink from Brazil I feel in love with. I took him to Paris for 10 days and he showed up with full hair on chest, legs, etc. I could not believe it as it was not what I had seen and a real turn off for me. Before he went to bed he went to the pharmacy and got some Nair and removed it all. We spent some fun times together but I never even thought he was that hairy. Tomcal 1 Quote
Tomcal Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I echo Bobbalino's comments! I usually spend just one or two days in SP each trip. Saying that, 3 of my top 4 guys currently, are from Lagoa! But i find Rio more fun and easier(and much cheaper) to get around! Some friends prefer so it is really individual. But for a first trip i did and would recommend sticking to Rio! You have 3 saunas, miles of beach and a much more "condensed" area to go/play around in. axiom2001 1 Quote
Guest bobbalino Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Here is a reasonably representative example of the bearded face depilated bod ... stripper Leo Moreno often onstage with Juju Sunday nights at Point 202. Quote
Members germark01 Posted January 11, 2017 Members Posted January 11, 2017 Is it acceptable to take pictures of the models while on stage? How about videos? Do you have to know them or have a relationship with them to be able to do so? Quote

I once was asked to delete and I certainly complied. No hard feelings. Quote

No cameras are allowed in the saunas....you would want to use discretion when you are taking photos and I can pretty much guarantee they will veto you taking videos inside the saunas.... germark01 1 Quote
Guest bobbalino Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Brazil is one of a handful of countries where privacy legislation dictates that merely taking a photographic/video image of any person requires, minimally, verbal consent. Know the local rules and customs ... don't be a Lochte. Quote

Members germark01 Posted January 12, 2017 Members Posted January 12, 2017 tomcal, You might be getting special treatment since you are a regular & you know a lot of people & staff in the Sauna. OR??? Badboy81 and Tomcal 2 Quote

Take into account that you may get special treatment because of how much you spend and how often you go... In December, one of the guys I hired who had a problem with bottoming from the get go go upset after I took photos of him after being in the room for 10 minutes and already taking photos....at the front desk, Monica point out the signs that say no photos/cameras... Just use discretion and your best judgement... There are always rules to the exception but if you are not on Tomcal status, just ask to make sure it is okay... Tomcal, germark01 and MsGuy 3 Quote
