If by the scene , you mean GoGo Bars , Massage Parlors etc, it is not even close. However lots of boys on Hornet who want to make money at similar prices to Thailand and the bonus being most speak good English. Quote

Resort in Seminyak) I was told that this place is owned by Jakarta based minister and german partner so it's unlikely to be raided. Recommend staying in Seminyak. it's where the gay life is and full of nice restaurants and beach. Quote
