Guest tomcal Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 OZ, I was in Shanghai for a week long meeting a few years ago, and I think it was the only foreign city I have ever visited that I never had sex.....just sayin! lol Quote
Members scott456 Posted January 17, 2016 Members Posted January 17, 2016 Why?1. Chinese are very calculating and mean people. Scam is a big part of their culture.2. Prostitution is illegal in China. Quote
Members firecat691614502759 Posted January 17, 2016 Members Posted January 17, 2016 #2 Hilarious. So it is in Thailand. Makes little difference what the Law is, only how it is enforced! #1 Anytime I see such a broad brush statement , I discard it as either prejudice or comment with no real knowledge. Quote
Members scott456 Posted January 25, 2016 Members Posted January 25, 2016 Go ahead and get involved with illegal prostitution in China. Enjoy!!! You have been warned. China is not Thailand. Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 2. Prostitution is illegal in China. In 2005 I stayed a week at the Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai. With the hotel's full knowledge and approval there were a bevy of working girls for sale, very explicitly, in the basement bar every night. Prostitution is a well entrenched and openly accepted part of life in all the coastal Chinese cities. (I know nothing of the interior.) I was so taken with these girls that I did not look into the boy scene so I cannot advise Oz here! Quote

You may be right about China but it is amazing how you have been on this Forum for 2 weeks and a member for 2 weeks and you are an expert on everything. And with all your expertise you are one of 2 members who managed to get themselves attacked in Brazil. Don't think I'll be taking any advice from you on anything! JAYBLK 1 Quote

Guest M2Sexy Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I was in Shanghai in 2001. I was scammed and it was scary. Be careful! Chinese guys are calculating and alot of them are scammers. I don't trust Chinese mainlanders. They are different from Chinese in Taiwan or Singapore. Mainlanders are looked down upon when they travel abroad. They are often very obstinate, intrusive, impatient, loud, and disrespectful of other cultures. The speak money and only know money. I had seen them in Asia. If you ask any Thai, Viet, or Pinoy about mainland Chinese, they will give you the same answer. Just be careful in Shanghai! I don't travel to China anymore becuase China pull so many strings on other smaller countries and they have no regards. The cultures and people reflect that. Just my biased opinion! Quote
Members Peter803 Posted February 17, 2016 Members Posted February 17, 2016 There are a lot of male escorts working in Shanghai. Most advertise online through massage websites or their personal blogs. Below is a website link in Chinese. If you click on the English button at the top, the available English speaking profiles drop significantly. Police raids do happen at massage parlor or similar locations, but rare in upscale hotels on individual escorts. Scam happens too if you hire from the street or being approached by someone. However if you are reasonably cautious, it can be a fun experience. From your posts, you seem like an experienced traveler, so you'll enjoy it. BTW, most escorts are straight, but versatile. http://www.gayvacation.biz/escorts/ axiom2001 1 Quote

Your first sentence is a loaded generalization; your second sentence is acceptable to those of us who do not know! Perhaps your experiences were not very positive; thus you chose to write what you wrote! Quote

My tongue and mouth would get one hell of workout; I love giving "tongue baths!" Quote

Around 50% will use fake photographs. If you want to look for escorts, it will be best to go through brokers. You can go directly to the KTV bars and pick whoever you like face to face. It will also be safer, as the brokers will keep the ID of the boys, so as to be sure that the boys do not scam the customers. Private message me if you want the contacts of these places. But you'll need to know how to speak mandarin chinese though... as most of them do not speak english. AdamSmith 1 Quote

Anyway, just to add, it is actually cheaper to find through brokers as well. With prices ranging from RMB 300 to 500. Because each broker will easily manage 30 over boys at any one time, and the competition prevents overcharging. On the other hand, the online escorts typically can charge whatever they like with less competition, and hence will charge rates from RMB 500 to RMB 800, or even more. Quote
