BoyToy Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Dear members, We apologize for being down the last 24 hours. We were upgrading the forums and ran into a snag. The snag being the new version of php and the forum were incompatible. So, we will have to get in touch with the board developers to ask for assistance. We are back but will need to upgrade again (successfully) in the near future (hopefully). Quote

Members RA1 Posted January 1, 2016 Members Posted January 1, 2016 "Any change...." Is that a quote from you? All this time I thought you were the "royalty" of Cambridge or at least a major inhabitant. Best regards, RA1 AdamSmith 1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I heard that quote in a TV bio of David Souter after he was installed on the Supreme Court. One of his former law partners said it was Souter's motto. Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Aha! I was going from memory. Apparently the real quote is: "Any change, at any time, for any reason, is to be deplored." The Duke of Cambridge (late 1800s) http://www.sermonsearch.com/sermon-illustrations/628/change-is-deplorable/ Quote

That change always brings a smile to Granny's face... Think about it ! AdamSmith 1 Quote
