the following is not meant as criticisms but solely my opinions as how to hire in Brazil specifically.

1) I have never hired nor understand why someone would hire off netgay, vs.going to a sauna! where you can see and interact before YOU hire! and pay 1/2 as much as the escorts on netgay charge.

I've known "Fabricio" for a few years and this story just doesn't quite seem like him. I also wouldn't expect him, much less any Netgay advertiser, to agree to 150 reais for the hour. That seems very low for Netgay. Plus, it seems like you asked him to show up at one place (which takes time and money), then agreed to go to yet another place (more time and money). If he's getting paid for his time, even at 150 reais and hour, I'm guessing this whole travel experience for him was about 1.5 hours or so. So 300 reais would make sense.

Secondly, going to a rentboy's place, whom you do not know, in a foreign land? Not very advisable. Your after-the-event advice is good for everyone, but your grievous errors were easily avoidable. That is the key - - - "with the saunas" which does not include going alone, while in a foreign country, to the apartment of a garoto you have never met and whose language you do not know.

As Badboy81 stated above in his post # 7, all the guy got was three hundred reais which is a lot less than he could have got had you been robbed or worse.

I think the responses in the thread directed at the original poster makes him now realize what never to do again in the future.
