As for its beauty, Americans forget that Mexico has the most robust economy in Latinoamerica and there's plenty of wealth in the big cities with Cartier, Bottega Veneta, etc. It's been years since I've been there and now I'm thinking of a week's trip based on the pulchritude of the escorts there! Just common sense, and keep the Tifanny's necklace and the Rolex on the vault. The "official" gay are (Zona Rosa - Pink Zone) is a not an upscale zone and pretty rusty, including the bars.
