Members mjd
The Boutique Hotel San Sebastian Gay is now advertising on the internet. It's located at Calle 62 in the gay Chapinero neighborhood and has very reasonable prices. I've never been but hope to learn more about it. Members msclelovr
Maybe the moderators can combine this and the other thread you started, and show the correct location in the headline. I wonder if the experienced travellers to Colombia can comment on whether the young men they encounter online would be relaxed/happy to call in and be seen at an openly gay hotel
Members mjd
Good question, msclelovr. But would a regular hotel allow a young man to come to your room? I read some reviews of the San Sebastian on Trip Advisor. Mixed.
Members tassojunior
I guess the only redeeming virtue would be if they allow guests to come to rooms. Otherwise a pretty spartan place. Even $50 seems high. I'd prefer the Holiday Inn or something like it on the nicer north end of Chapinero around the 70's.
Members boiworship
I'd love to know which hotels allow one to bring in "guests"!
Members mjd
There have been reports on other threads saying they have never had problems having visitors in their hotels. Wonder if there is a strategy.

Would you say that the key to having no problems with bringing guests to your room is ensuring that they are well-dressed and presentable in public? Or is there some racial dimension with lighter-skinned guests being accepted while darker-skinned guests are challenged?

bakopanda44
Isn't this hotel in Bogota, not in Medellin?

Listed Hotels I stayed in the Prepago thread. Never had a problem. Met them in Lobby and just walked right in with no questions.
Members JAYBLK
I've had questions asked of my guests and all had to leave a photo copy of ID. A couple of them had to be registered. Hilton Cartagena, W Bogota, Sheraton Medellin, Hampton by Hilton Cali, Hilton Bogota.
Members firecat691614502759
That did not happen to me at Hiltons in Bogota but it is close to 2 year since my last visit. Also that does not bother me and actually provides another level of safety. JAYBLK
