Pat Robertson: Market swoon is God's punishment

In the biggest non-surprise so far this year..........because we just don't get enough daily, crazy.....

Televangelist Pat Robertson says he believes the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s massive sell-off this morning was God’s way of punishing the Obama administration for supporting abortion rights and funding Planned Parenthood, not the reverberations of China’s stock-market crash.

“We will pay dearly as a nation for this thing going on,” he said. “And possibly if we were to stop all this slaughter the judgment of God might be lifted from us. But it’s coming, ladies and gentlemen,” the host of the “700 Club” said. “We just had a little taste of it in terms of the financial system, but it’s going to be shaken to its core in the next few months, years or however long it tastes and it will hurt every one of us.”

Robertson’s unique take comes in response to the Dow tumbling by more than 1,000 points right after the opening bell this morning, after stocks on China’s benchmark Shanghai Composite index plunged more than 8 percent. It had recovered by mid-afternoon.
