He is on the site every day but is in a blue funk hoping that others pleading for his return to posting his choice of porn will vindicate him. He doesn't seem to acknowledge that the internet is just one click away from much better pics than the one he obsesses over. As for him pouting as Calli has suggested due to being "verbally assaulted" by Zipperzone - what a crock of shit. If one were to take the time to check past posting it would be clear that he was much more assaulting than Zipperzone but I hope no one is dumb enough to waste the time on such a useless pursuit. Personally I find his absence refreshing but i guess nothing is forever. We are also spared the habitual ass kissing from Axiom who to my knowledge has never posted anything original other than telling us what he would like to due with numbers 2, 14, 17 & 29, as if anyone gives a shit. When he first joined here, some of his vitriol came my way. (And later!) Didn't particularly bother me. I found him interesting and worth engaging with. I think there are multiple layers to him, and a lot of heart, and a great quantity of positive contribution to the forum. I was having a discussion about another message board yesterday with some long time posters. It is not a gay related site but one based on politics. There is a firestorm brewing and many members are upset and leaving because a poster is posting. My friends, who all have over 20,000 posts on that site, said the same thing I thought and that is that they cannot for the life of them fathom why someone can't just ignore someone that they disagree with. Most forums have a built in ignore feature that allows this to work great. Maybe the fact that I taught high school age kids for 35+ years and survived explains why nasty negativity, directed my way, doesn't faze me. Why should I care what people who don't know me think about or post about me? My family, my friends, and I know who and what I am and really that's all that counts. I also try to remember that it ALWAYS takes "two to tango". If I don't want to get into a verbal food fight all I have to do is reframe from posting on an inflammatory thread. Or I can, as TotallyOz suggests, hit the ignore button for certain posters. My problem, if it is a problem, is that there are occasions when I actually enjoy a good down and dirty food fight. Oz, I applaud every word of yours in the above. You were candid, succinct, and logical! If one does not care for the photos posted in a particular thread, ignore and go elsewhere! I, too, "hate nasty negativity" and DO NOT participate here as well as at any of the sites {few as they are} that I frequent! It is not as if the Internet is about to run out of room. Every thread is clearly labeled as to who originated it. As Oz says, if you don't want to look at somebody's posts -- don't.
