Someone who is a member of this site showed it to him. This guy is not a tech savvy guy and was shown it by one of our members...So going forward I will not post anything on here about individual guys, either photos or videos or contact info. Quote

"No good deed goes unpunished" or so the saying goes. Photos and videos posted on this site are hidden from the general public via a password that each member selects. In order for a sauna guy to access the photos and videos, the sauna guy would have to know about the photos and videos AND join the site OR use the sign in data of a site member. It seems that a member of this site was visiting Brazil and accessed the site for a sauna guy. Whomever showed the photos or videos to a sauna boy was not thinking of the possible fallout. What purpose was served except to upset the sauna guy? The best of intentions sometimes have a backfire effect. Quote

He knows who he is and whatever he got out of doing it whether maliciously(I personally don't think that was the motivation) or innocently, trying to show the sauna guy that guys in the U.S. talk and know about them...it was just dumb! so in the future I am flying under the radar, everyone will have to search on their own if they want to see or contact a sauna guy. I can't prove this yet, but I believe this individual sent me pvt messages to help him on finding the best night for guys and specifically asked about the sauna guy that messaged me! I tell you have my support Tom for whatever decision you make about what posting or not posting. Your insights (and of all the posters here) were incredibly helpful in my discovery of the sauna scene in Rio/SP and I`m grateful for that. I know it dont easy the hit, but you are not alone in getting anger from boys... Two Brazilian blogs (Volupia and Kafussu) that sometimes talks about the saunas or individual boys are usual target of the boys angers and had even being deleted by Google/Blogspot a number of times on behalf of boys complain. It was the person I suspected, someone who had asked me for info on the saunas and specifically about this saunaguy. Still don't understand why he did it, what's even more interesting is this member had asked me to not say anything about him as he disclosed some personal info to me at the time he was messaging me. I wouldn't do that to anyone even thou he deserves it.. as they say "you live and learn" :-) Quote

I hope he continues to enjoy his remaining stay in Rio despite his propensity for being a braggadocio. The sauna guys are not impressed by someone who betrays a trust. I met a certain saunaboy (Tomcal likely remembers him as he met him as well). I posted some info about this boy and included his pics. Somehow he found out and freaked out on me...I had to go back and delete the pics and mention of him. And I lost his friendship over the whole ordeal. Like Tomcal said, "sad that some people have to ruin it for others". Quote

We'd never had "super-negative" discussion about the saunas or negative comments thrown at other posters until a week or so back! Perhaps when that individual leaves Brazil he will no longer post here, or if he continues to post in the manner in which he did recently, he can always be suspended or banned by the heads of the site! Axiom, I am going to make a assumption here that the poster that I am talking about is not the poster(s)you are referring to! They are different people! he did nothing against the site's rules here to be banned. There is a lot of adjectives I could use to describe what he did, but in the end what's done is done. It far easier to just not post then to jeopardize future trips. The fact this person private emailed me to get additional information also means I won't be responding to pm's anymore, but there are more then a couple regular posters on here who are as well versed as me on Brazil and can pick up the slack. When I do post it just will be w/o photos. I am done with this topic now, he doesn't deserve anymore "press". Quote

Who has been recently talking about his trip to Rio, and asking lots of questions about the saunas there? Who here is fresh off the plane from Rio? It may not be "the one" who has most recently made a recent negative impact here, but there are others who made the board aware of an upcoming Rio trip.I don't think it's a good idea to post photos of anyone on the Internet without his of her prior permission. If that person has already posted a photo somewhere on the Internet, like an ad advertising sex for sale services, then of course, he is fair game. However, a sauna worker deserve just as mush discretion and anonymity as we would expect. Anything that appears on the Internet is no longer private. This board may require a password and user name but it can easily be obtained. There is no other screening method for entry and for viewing posts and photos. Of course, we as indosvials may expect gentlemanly conduct from all board members, but with no screening or membership requirements, there is no way to guarantee this. Therefore, posting photos of sauna boys (or escorts who do not advertise their wares) without his advance permission just should not be done. This is a natural consequence of such action. Sorry to hear that it happened...I was wondering how it never happened before...I noticed that the boys in the saunas walked around with their cell phones using the internet.... That is part of the reason I didn't post any pics from my last visit...I want the guys to continue letting take pics of then...years ago it was not a big deal for them to actually pose for pics and now I can see why they were very apprehensive or wanted money for photos.... A few that I was with would only let me take photos of them from the neck down.... Please continue posting...I enjoy your postings.... Quote

While we like to think of our group as insular it is not. As part of the WWW and subscriptions easy to access without screening( and at no cost ) then we are going to have looky loos drop in and once in a while one of those are going to make himself feel important by actions such as this. I for one hope TomCal reconsiders, and that other posters continue to post photos whenever they can. Quote
