Last night Tuesday the joint was jumping, so many new faces that where not here a month ago...once again SRO, and the hallwall of fame was full, at one point it became lined on both sides, an interesting gauntlet of garotos to run.... The grand stairway to heaven had a waiting line 45 min long (around 7:30). i hate waiting for a bus, i don't know about you. Its the same at ski resorts when the lift line is longer then the down hill run. I talk to my amigo about point and he had not heard that news, but was pleased to hear it...he nodded his head, both of them, and thought about it, and smiled... i asked him about the new place, and he had heard of it, but said not for him??? he likes he friends at 117 I told him about this site, and asked him if he would join in, and give the insider view of the club, and he said yes he would be interested. we need to pick a screen name for him! any ideas??? i think boy from Ipanema would be nice.... or garoto would be to the point FIRST TIMER from LA was in the club last night. we went to metro last night. got talking and he asked how the club worked, turns out a "chicklet" got hold of him when he entered and stuck to him, charged him 200R for fun, I said i hope you saw the sun the moon and the stars. and he said no... just the moon. i gave him the TomCal lowdown, and a sort education, we will work on his skills tonight. me teaching the TC course.... But I do know they talk and gossip about us as much as we talk about them! My personal opinion is that I don't think I would post as much or post photos if I thought the boys would be looking at them as it could create drama on the next visit! i.e. why did you say that about me or why didn't you say that about me or you like ---- more then me because you posted his pic, etc...they are very competitive...just saying my 2 cents If sauna boys were reading this site, I would probably go silent so I wouldn't have to explain anything to them on future visits. Too bad the "first timer" had not gotten some schooling before hitting the saunas in Brazil. Before my first of eleven trips to Rio, I went to www.daddysreviews.com and read everything that was there. The advice and guidance helped tremendously, for when I ventured into my first sauna in Rio, the now defunct Rogers, I knew exactly what to do as well as what not to do. Fortunately, at that time until today, I know how NOT to "get burned" or taken. As you know the boys have a script to use when first meeting you: what's your name? where are you from? is this your first time? want a massage? To date I smile, for since I know it, I can either tell the truth or embellish! Again, I feel a little sorry for the neophyte, but must thank you for coming to his aid! Quote

TomCal, I concur with everything that you shared here but want to cite an observation of the past to support the above! I had a good acquaintance who frequented that saunas in Brasil when he would travel there. At the ones in Rio and the one to which we went to in Curitiba, he "drew the guys" to him. He'd have one fling after another and another. The guys, especially the ones at Club 117, would come up to him and request his company. Most of the time he would have someone in tow or he would be on his way back to his apartment with or w/o a garoto; I'd sit back and smile and tacitly applaud all of the apparent fun and attention that he was receiving. I told him that he must "suck cock" in a grand manner or pay the guys a good fee in order for their forever wanting to be in his company. He never gave me the reason from his viewpoint! But from what I viewed, "the guys do talk about us!" The late Jivua would just smile and not try to analyze or explain to me what drew the cuties to him. Quote
