Guest travelerjim Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 TJ You forgot to mention this price is based on double occupancy. Thanks Walter...You are right... but note that the supplement for single occupancy is reasonable... about $250.00 as I priced out from LAX to BKK. I believe the total is fair value..when considering the cost of airfare alone is about the price quoted for air & hotel package. I share this info solely to assist others searching for options in visiting Thailand. I am NOT a travel agent! Just seeking to share my experiences from the many times I have traveled to Asia. Thanks for the comment. It has been a long time since I recommended via postings this Gate 1 Travel site. TJ Quote
Guest Steve1903 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I see a lot of these "flight and hotel" offers on the net. The problem being that guys like myself want a hotel in a gay area and thats just not the case with the vast majority, if not all, of these offers. I've always booked my own hotel and separate flight. Quote
Bob Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 A buddy of mine always uses the "flight and hotel" deals offerred by Northwest....and he almost ends up spending less for that than the price of the regular flight ticket alone. Sometimes he actually stays a night or two (usually the first and last) in the hotel package included. So, often worth a look. Quote
